Think it was when Furyk was hitting his first of 3 putts on the par 3 over water, #11 I believe. He was on the left fringe and ran it about 7 feet past.

I picked this up as well, I know the GIF is terrible but this isn't my specialty. What a difference a week makes....

Such a good stress reliever. If I didn't have to pay for clubs, I'd be breaking a few in the parking lot after each round.

Not if you break it in anger. If you somehow break it during the normal course of play you can.

I think it is akin to having instant replay for 4 of the 16 NFL games each week. Those games that are nationally televised have instant replay, the other 12 don't. How is that fair? How is that even handed? Either follow every ball around with a camera and review each action or leave it up to the players/playing partners/rules officials who are there at the time.

This isn't quite true. Generally the later in the field you start the more coverage you get. That evens things out and don't we want those in contention more closely monitored? There are people who will get extra coverage but really what they are asking for is the same opportunity to cheat as everyone else. Interpret that at your own risk. We are a long way from monitoring every person/shot so lets use what we have. I am however against any non-tour cameras used directly. However if someone uses a non-tour cam to alert a situation where a tour cam has footage but doesn't know it I think that's ok.

meh I'm quite confident that judicial situations happen to every golfer a similar amount of the time - I'm pretty sure tiger doesn't have more crazy situations than another golfer that plays as often as him

the drop/moving ball happens to everyone else all the time but you never hear about it because old idiots don't freeze frame nick watney's ball every single time it's on tv

I'm definitely pro breaking clubs and throwing ****, except for how it makes everyone around you so uncomfortable. If you're with good friends who can laugh at you when you do it, then that's cool.

No, it's not cool. I am about as big of a hot head as there is, but there is nothing fun or cool about being a douche and throwing tantrums and interfering with others peoples recreational down time. If you don't practice enough to be good then you certainly have no room to be getting pissed you can't play a hard game. If you are good enough to get mad then you should know better.

I say all that as a hot head who used to get pissed all the time and looking back at it I am completely embarrassed at how I acted at times. It is never cool to act like an ass.
