It's not at all unreasonable that a potential legend would get much better between their age 20 (2009) and 23 (2012) seasons.
You are talking like his 2009 season has equal weight to his 2012 season. The only inflection point so far in his career has occured between 2012 and 2013, in which it has ticked downward.
What does this tell us about the future? Almost nothing.
