This guy who uses the word lucky or unlucky every 8th word is really awful. Drives me nuts hearing him call 90% of shots unlucky and 10% lucky. He shouldn't even be using these words at all.

My point is that guy said balls are the big problem facing the tour - not anchoring. I said "umm, no."

The only people complaining about technology are the 60 year olds who are butthurt for some reason when guys reach 5s in 2. They shouldn't gaf. Everyone on the current tour has access to basically the same technology. If some guys on the current tour had to use persimmon and balata then yeah it would be unfair.

But old farts hating on technology are only doing so because it hurts their feeble ego.

Earlier when they were interviewing Jack every other comment made toward Jack was about technology. Tiger hit a 3 wood off a tee and one of the idiots said to Jack "that basically WAS your driver back then." Jack basically kept downplaying their complaints. They also said the sweet spot was much smaller back then and you really couldn't give a go at a par 5. Jack basically said "Well, not really. You could really go at it." Everyone around Jack seems to want to shower him with "back when you did it - it was harder" nonsense. Jack seems to deflect much of that and ends up saying "the competition today is much better."

Often times it seems like Jack wants to say "Look, I'm sorry you guys couldn't hit the old driver well - I could. Norman could. Plenty of us could. Stop bringing me into this technology debate."

the tour is the tour. the ball is one (a major one) aspect of the issue, when it comes to technology and where golf wants to go with it. amatuers always mimic tour players so the problem becomes at your local muni or club. it becomes an issue with pace and cost of play. ive stated it many times so i dont feel like explaining it again but im sure you can figure out how it affects those two areas.

you might get more pleasure watching tiger win his ump...teen major but i would always choose a nice round of golf over any pga tourny. i would still enjoy a round of golf just the same if there was no pga tour, so whats good for the game is not necessarily whats good for the pga tour, or for viewing entertainment.

Tiger having one of those blah days, 3 birdies on the back side and he followed every one of them with a bogey, got to be steaming a bit but the group including Tiger are all huge smiles having a good laugh as they finish up their round and walk off of 18. That's when you realize these guys have the good life. Wake up every morning and play golf for a living.

Well Rory was playing much better than Tiger when he said that. It's not like he was saying he fancied his chances against Tiger at any day in the future. He was specifically saying that he fancied his chances against Tiger they was Tiger was playing at that moment.

Yeah but right now that's not a good look. Because people like me will post it and laugh at him about it. They said Rory shot his 5th worst PGA round today.

I love watching Rory and want to see him dominate but WTF man he's playing like total ****. He hasn't even had more than a few low rounds this year so it's not like he's inconsistent.
