Yep. Spieth played like a queef today. Got IRATE a couple times out on the course, too.

Sorry if I missed discussion, but what was the deal with the penalty on Speith?

I thought the rule was changed, that if your ball moved it wasn't a penalty? Is it just by wind and they decided it wasn't windy enough therefore HE caused the ball to move?

Yes, that is essentially it. Gravity is not exempted from a penalty.

They were showering Speith with so much praise...when Jordan was standing over that putt and I heard Feherty say "it moved" I thought he was talking about his own junk.

I think he's trained by Gabriel Hjertstedt

Pretty intense day for a kid I'd imagine. Probably wanted his first win to come in Dallas in front of friends and family a little too much and got a little out of his element.

All his high school friends are probably home from college this week and out there and peppering him with off course texts and distractions too. That's a lot going on while still learning the ropes and looking for your first win.

Spieth is by far the best young player we have seen for quite some time now. Have a few buddies that played alot of amateur golf with him and said he was just stupid good. Is he in the likes of Rory and Tiger, hmmm probably not but I agree with the ship in that his game itself is not far behind. Tiger was ahead of his time when he joined tour. Spieth however is not because times have changed and yet he is still competing at age 19 and competing very well. That has to count for something. Ill take Spieth over Garcia every day and twice on Sunday on who will have the better career when it is all said and done so looking at what young players did isnt always accurate. Definitely looking forward to seeing more of this kid in the future, but would however like to see him clean up his attitude just a bit but at the same time I really dont care. Tiger acted very similar to Spieth at that age because he was so competitive and look where he is now.

Not here to argue with anyone on this, just stating some general thoughts since I think Spieth is going to be an absolute monster on Tour

Thoughts on Gianlang Guan (spelling?) Kid is 14 and was low-Am at the Masters and made a few cuts in a row before finally missing a cut last week.

He's not better than Spieth but he's much younger. I wonder how good he could be by age 19 when he strengthens and has 5 more years' experience.

i was actually wondering earlier this week about gravity and the putting green. i play alot of very hilly courses.

i heard a commentator saying to never ground your club behind ball then you are never considered to have addressed it. something he learned from nicklaus.

the commentators seems to love delaet yesterday. the guy has crazy fast tempo i think. seemed to be much longer than anyone else. made it in 2 (the fringe) from 635 yards. not bad

Stallings with a 29 on the front to take the lead. Should I have heard of this guy?

LOL and remembering that Zach won last year despite a two-stroke penalty on the 72nd where he didn't re-mark his ball after moving off someone's line.

Dont mind seeing Boo win. Good comeback by him. Just a few years ago (if Im not mistaken) he lost is full tour card I think and couldnt hole a putt for the life of him. Now he is back in the winners circle
