I'm not familiar with this course either and heard everyone say how much they like it so I played it on TW-07 today. Confirmed that putting it in the right spot on the fairway is important. And the greens are tiny. Shot a 58. On the first par 3 I believe my shot came up about a foot short, landed on the downsloped part of the green and rolled into the water. I then re-teed with an extra club, took a bit off it and gave it some more loft and dunked it into the hole for a par 3. lol.

Dude can overpower a course. His good is reeeally good. His meh is also really meh

PGA Sections have an exemption into events where the player of the year and the winner of our section championship get into PGA events. In Georgia POY gets choice of Athens or Valdosta (both Web.com events) and Section Champ gets the other. When the Bellsouth was here, they got an exemption into that. Not sure about HH, but usually a section has a 2 spot monday qualifier for Section members only. Good chance for us to get a cool week, get our butts beat, and realize why we are club pros. Although several years ago, one of the guys from my section almost won the Bellsouth - he was in the next to last group & held the lead shortly on Sunday. Pretty exciting for us lowly club pros!

Yea HH had a section qualifier. Think maybe only 1 spot though. Clemson pgm'er missed it by a shot. He's an alternate.

Agree with others, this tournament is one of my favorite non majors of the year. Great course to watch on tv, I'd love to play it sometime

I agree with the above statement. I think I actually prefer this broadcast before the masters, dunno why, but the course looks absolutely sweet.

Fan of this course as well. Has to be rather annoying/unnerving for those coming back for one or two Round 2 holes tomorrow who are up in the air as far as making the cut.

I actually played Harbour Town the day after the tournament back in 2001 and then played it again in probably 2003 or 2004. It is a pretty fun course to play but super overpriced imo.

Angel Cabrera playing on the PGA Tour latinoamerica tour this week. How tough is this Cordoba Golf Club? Leader is +1 and Cabrera is T20 at +7.

As is I imagine every course that's a regular Tour stop. I know TPC Scottsdale certainly is, as is Torrey Pines for non-residents. And then there is Pebble Beach. Remarkable what people will (over)pay to play where the pros have and what they've seen on TV.

Hoffman was amazing today. Only saw the back nine but he wasn't just making putts, they were dead center.

All the chutes to hit through makes me guess that this isn't Bubba Watson's favorite course. No clue if he plays in this event though.

I've played a lot of TV courses... Pebble is one that probably lives up to the price tag, as exorbitant as it is.

Habour Town is a fun course, and one of the better tv courses I've played. I know people who have played it when it wasn't in as nice of shape though. I got it right after this tournament... like 15 years ago.
