ARC,

That was the funniest thing I've read in a while, lol'ed especially hard at the part about jackwagons winning with long putters.

Thought this would swing when Rory birdied 16 and Martin had the half wedge bunker shot on 17. Nope. What a round. At least Horschel shouldn't feel like he gave it away.

EDIT: and what about Charley Hoffman. +3 the first ten holes, -6 the last eight.

Great round by Laird, and what a nice finish by Rory to kick off Masters week.

I'm sure it was riveting watching the JV hit it around.

If Rory would have won this week, would this be the second-most hyped Masters in recent memory?

I imagine (though don't remember) that the 2001 Masters would be the leader in this category.

Harbour Town is probably my favourite non-major event, pity it's scheduled right after the Masters

Absolutely love Harbour Town. No course like it on tour.

Didn't even realise it was harbour town week. Awesome, I love watching golf on this course. The less said about the plaid jacket the better though...

Colaserts at Harbour town Augie? I haven't seen him play too much but never really thought about him as the type or shotmaker that course requires

What makes Harbour Town unique for those not in the know?

Smallest greens on tour, also some of the flattest. Huge trees around and overhanging the fairways. Often you will need to hit curved shots into a lot of holes even from the fairways.

Trees and doglegs set it up so that long tee shots are really only helpful on a few holes.

You look at who's had success here and it is the guys known for putting or mid iron play. Snedeker, Donald, Davis Love, Boo Weekly, Furyk

All he needs is a 5 iron, a wedge and a putter. EZ game...

i'll probably back colsaerts at 80/1 all year long on every course. i got 80/1 on him at augusta, which is a much better bet, makes me feel like bookies don't put a ton of effort into setting golf odds.

wish i were resourceful enough to gather a ton of information from across the interwebs and become an expert bettor, probably lots of money to be made

matt bova in the field! he's from my home town! played with him a couple of times in high school.

looks like he got in on a "PGA section champ/player of the year" exemption, what is that? just put a fiver on him at 500/1, lol
