I would not argue that, for his first 10-11 years on tour he seemed to make every single putt he needed to make. He literally willed the ball in the hole it seemed.

Want to say his first big miss was on 15 at Augusta, can't remember the year. Missed a putt less than 4 feet in the last round. And then that near tap in he had to close out Nick O'Hern in the match play. Missed that then lost in extra holes. He hasn't been near as clutch since all the fallout.

That being said, I don't think he's the greatest putter of all time.

Buf if putts are not in big spots they do not mean near as much which then takes pressure off which makes them easier which is why I think Tiger is the greatest putter of all time. Gotta make the putts that matter

Am almost certain the putt on 15 I'm thinking of happened in a year he won, am also almost certain that this was pre-2009. He was 4 feet behind and above the hole, camera angle low and from the left, hard lip-out on the left side.

Wow, that's certainly the location he missed from. Could have sworn that was much longer ago.

But heck, Tiger has missed so many short putts over the years it's hard to keep them all straight.

love Bowditch. made it on the tour by winning a joint Nike event down in Aussie years back. First year he was home sick and had some sick blow up cards. lost his card and made it back. I want him to ship. Plus he has one eyebrow.

Yeah, 2011 was such a disappointment down the stretch. Had that huge eagle on 8 to take the lead out of nowhere, but the 3-putt on 12, par on 13, and miss from 4 feet on 15 removed any chance of winning. But damn I'll remember the eagle on 8 forever. Hadn't had a Tiger moment in like 3 years, and he pours in a 15-foot eagle to take the lead and unleashes a huge fist pump. Thought he might be back. Not quite.

I bet Paddy has the worst second round scoring average in the world. He's 150th before the cut but I swear i remember him this season going like 69 76 all year.
