Back left or back right? Back right was 1986 and 2003.

Did have something in my post about how I didn't remember much about the early 90s but pulled it for brevity.

2008 was...Immelman? Can't remember off the top of my head but that seems right as I believe Phil was the year prior (with an assist from Fred Couples massaging his balls the entire round) and of course the Perry debacle was the year following. That was definitely standard front left or I would have remembered otherwise.

Like you, the only back right I can remember is 86 and 03.

Immelman in 2008 I don't remember. Zach was 2007 and all I remember was him missing the green short right and then chipping tight to the standard hole location for the win.

1991 was Woosie with the 6 footer for the win and fist pump. 1992 was Couples with his approach from the bunker pin high right, then leaving the putt an inch short with the patrons right there.

Americans have won 14 straight PGA Tour events, establishing a new record. (Previous record was 13 in 1989).

He's won at every level he's played. I'm confident he will win on Tour. Hopefully soon.

Best masters in recent memory IMO was 2011 with Scharzel pulling off 4 straight birds on back 9. Seemed like every 10 min there was different leader and as an aussie having Day and Scott with a real chance to win was fairly epic.

It is. Not joking. Beginning a sentence with "but" is perfectly acceptable. I defy you to prove it's not.

But we digress.

Pretty weird the tour took 2 weeks off before the Masters. Can't wait to see Tiger tee it up after the break.

I hope he wins it, would be great for his confidence and career moving forward.

Yeah his confidence must be really low after winning his last 2 events and regaining world number 1.

haha good one about Melnyk, simply unbearable at times.

Chris Perry had a good run and finished 5th on the money list. Only one tour win.

Marcel Siem missed The Masters by 1 slot on the OWGR. So we're all spared having to see his tuft of hair sticking out the back of his hat.

He's played 10 majors since the scandal, with 9 made cuts and four top-4s.

Using your sole metric (performance in majors), he's better than he was between mid-2002 and the end of 2004, in which he played in 10 majors and had two top-4s. He then went on to win 3 of 8 majors.

Or maybe you just don't understand variance. Or things like trouble outside golf (blockbuster divorce).

I never said i disliked Tiger. He is awesome to watch and I want him to win as many majors as possible. Injuries and the scandal have set him back for a while and i'de like to see him back to where he was or even better, and I believe he can do that. Winning the Masters this year, especially because he's playing so well right now can only help his confidence going forward.

As he's stated, the only goal in his sights are Jack's 18 majors. It's cool to have a sweat like that. We know that is the last straw to solidify his career and we get to watch it unfold. That's awesome.
