Just for ha-ha's here are my expected pairings with confidence they will be paired. There are (I am assuming there are 34 matches still this year? which means 56 playing slots):

Tiger and Stricker-Close to 100%-Guessing Tig plays all 5 and Strick plays 5

Keegan and Dufner- Not positive as Keegan and Phil loved playing together but I think he might play these guys. Keegan plays all 5; Duf maybe 5

ZJ and Webb- Like 100%; 2 biggest bible thumpers. Guessing they both play 4

Kuchar and Spieth- Not sure why but just seem like good pairing-Guessing 60% they play together. Kuch been around seems like he could play with anyone. Kuch plays 5; Spieth plays 5

Mickelson and Sneds- Seem like easy to get along with guys who can play with anyone as well-50/50 they are paired. If Mickelson plays with KB then Duff and Sneds together. Phil plays 5; Sneds plays 5

Mahan and Haas- process of elimination; seem like good fits too. Say like 35-40%. Both play 4

First place prize money is actually not increasing very quickly. While there was an increase in the late 90s (presumably the alleged Tiger effect), the rate of increase slowed down tremendously in the 2000s. And you can't blame it all on the recession, because it's been relatively flat since the mid 2000s. First place at the Masters was the same 3 years in a row. And it was the same for 3 consecutive years before that. From 1979 through 2001, the prize money had gone up every single year.

The BMW is supposed to have the top 70 players. There's a tie for 70th (Ernie Els and Ryan Palmer). I assume they both make it, right?

The PGA Tour called and asked my opinion on the matter. Since I watched Palmer beat one of my traveling companions in a playoff on the minis one event, I suggested to Finchem that Els would be better for the tour in a myriad of ways. Apparently he took my advice.

I think if Freddie splits up Mickelson and Keegan then Mickelson will play with Spieth. Cause Mickelson asked Freddie to pick him and the new guys are almost always paired with on of the most experienced players. If not Phil the maybe Kooch

Anyway I think if you add up how many matches you have everyone playnig it's probably more than there are to dish out but whatever

As much as Stevie may come across as a prick as he did with Tiger he is a great caddy. If you don't think he has any value ask Adam Scott on the putt that won him the Major. Even Tiger would agree I think

I see him and Fluff and Bones all getting to the HOF
