But BO said the players' votes are all that matter. I guess because they know the game. I didn't see a computer out there fighting it out with Adam Scott at Augusta National, dag nabbit!

Players are clearly more biased. Yes they may have gotten to the same POY as the points but they do it in different ways. There's no way the players vote unanimously every year for the winner, so you have X% of the tour saying the wrong player should be player of the year.

Is this all real? I know you guys love trolling Bo but my god these threads are ******ed. I have never seen someone get so upset over the comments of a retired hall of famer, TV commentator that have zero bearing on the actual award. Perhaps Faldo is just filling time..perhaps he truly believes that...but jesus dude it just doesn't matter. He has never once (that I am aware of) been accused of racism and suddenly because he has a contrarian view he is a racist. GTFO.
I assume Bo was being hyperbolic when he said EVERY player would vote for Tiger. Obviously some wouldn't for a variety of reasons some of which would be sketchy.
But I GUARANTEE you players would care more about a vote from their competitors than some points system. Players are human, the respect of their peers carries a lot of weight. If you don't understand this, sorry to say it, it is because you have never played.
Go on trolling tho...BTW there are still 3 more events before any of this matters.
