You missed the entire point of the post. Everyone knows the content, which is why the comment was made. BO believes Jack's second places finishes are significant, yet doesn't think it matters how far back Tiger finishes. That's inconsistent.

Everybody knows I don't wager with strangers for money over the internet, regardless I don't have any way to send or receive. Besides, I've got an avatar wager with cwice, which is enough for this nit. But yes, I am confident. He won't win, he won't finish second, I think he's at least 5 shots off the pace.
Here's why, for starters Tiger tends to play well at courses he knows inside and out. He's played in one event at Oak Hill, that's a strike against him. He's already commenting about the slowness of the greens, and we all know he doesn't putt slow greens well. Another strike. He's not hitting the driver well enough to keep it in play, especially at a classic course like this where accuracy is at a premium. Another strike. His issue on the weekend at the majors. Another strike. It just doesn't set up well for him in many regards.
Look, I've been saying for many majors now that the longer Tiger goes without winning one the tougher it's going to be. And I've been right for an awful lot of majors so far much to the chagrin of the blind Tiger lovers. That being said, I do think that if he cracks the barrier again he can win several in rapid succession.
