Normal BS. He talks about aiming face at target and swinging down open toe line. Says "see how the ball starts in the direction the club was swinging" blah blah blah.

I don't understand how this hasn't been corrected yet at these levels. The information isn't controversial, it's factual. It's absurd that the networks allow it to happen.

Gotta root for Stefani to win after the bounceback following the quad. Wonder when the last time a winner carded a quad in the course of the event? Has to have been awhile.

Was busy doing housework all day so I only saw a little bit of the coverage but I happened to see this part and immediately thought "oh man someone on the forum will be pissed" lol.

Also I miss Peter Kostis doing the Konica Minolta BizHub Swing Vision thing or whatever it's called. The slo-mo swing analysis.

They've got Faldouche on it now and every single analysis is the exact same:

"Ewwww look at eem bring tha club back theh on that noice line.....he sets ee's wrists and look at the extension theh.... got his clubface a smeeeedgeon past the tahget line at the top bot look how eee tuhns ees hips and brings that club back down and reeeally just gets those hands through at impact and you see how ee generates ee's powah."

THANKS NICK I could have said that. Get well soon, Peter Kostis.

I dislike Kostis analysis even more. I don't think Faldo really holds himself up as an expert in the swing, but Kostis does and is IMO more aggressively wrong time and time again.

Agree. Faldo has also been exposed to TrackMan a lot recently so he knows what's going on better than most commentators

Looks like Stallings is going to close one out this week, finally, while everyone around him other than Palmer implodes. Cue up a Leo "pussies" rant.

Seriously LOL @ him being that upset it didn't go in. Was a great shot though. Wouldn't have mattered either way as English birdied 17 and stuck a nice shot on 18 for an easy 2 putt win by 2.

English has been one of those guys you figured would win pretty soon. He's had a good start to his career so far.

I still think of Patrick Reed as "that guy that kept Monday-qualifying a couple years ago". He must be pretty talented as well.

One thing I kinda like about these 2nd-rate tournaments is that we get to see some of the young guns shine. Like when Streelman won that weak-field event. It's just cool to see young guys close out. Harbinger of what might be to come in strong-field events once they polish things up a bit more.

Looked like Patrick Reed had his wife caddying for him. He finally made a birdie putt late in the round, and you could hear her say "it's about time" to him
