Meh. It's pretty hard to argue that any segment of "the golfing world" will remember Kenny Perry longer than John Daly, regardless of why or whether it's justified.

Yeah idk its close. Perry is still playing on the Champions tour and winning and doing quite well and hes had 14 pga tour wins 2 champions tour wins and 3 other wins. Hes also had a few top 5 finish in majors. Id probably take perry over Daly and I love Daly

The only reason most remember Daly is because he's a redneck idiot, people can relate to their own kind.

That being said, if he had half a brain, he could have double digit majors by now. One of the most naturally gifted golfers ever.

Yeah Daly is an enormous waste of talent. No fat joke intended. He's the type of guy who could quit golf for 5 years and then show up to a course drunk at 6 on a Saturday morning after a night in the strip club and shoot 71. Some people just have it.

Yeah I believe he led eGolf a few years back and was leading it again when he made his run on Nationwide, winning twice in 5 starts two years ago. Last year was his first on Tour and I really think he's ready to win this year. Except for that tee shot on 10. Lets do it!

wanted to ask about commentating yesterday.

announcers didn't like kokrak's swing. and FWIW the tour tempo guys have it as one of the fastest tempo swings around (john peterson ex-LSU too)

is the idea that his swing takes too much timing? and that swings like his (and i'd add dustin johnson, although his swing is very different from kokrak's) don't hold up well under pressure.

cause it seems amazing that they criticize a swing that is tied for the lead on saturday (and subsequently leading on sunday)

feel bad for wheatcroft. now i realize my canadian upstart guys (delaet, fritsch) are not alone. the canadians have been absolutely terrible in last few groups the last few years. but i always wondered if that's somewhat true of all younger players

Would be fine with any of Horschel, Stenson, or Points winning. Would like to see Henrik's strong finish at least net a playoff. Good news is it looks clear behind this front.

Happy that Cink isn't going to win. f that clown.

Too bad Steve Wheatcroft laid an egg today. Would have been a hell of a story.
