It lightened up for a couple minutes,about a third of the people left tent. Big mistake. Pouring again.

No power anywhere on course except generators, course should drain quickly once it stops raining basically all they have said

Books come out ahead because the public tries to quantify the unquantifiable, which is exactly what your post is trying to do. Tiger is on the verge of again becoming the #1 player in the world, I highly doubt -200 to -300 is necessarily a bad line, especially depending on the book.

But it's quite different these days. As you said intimidation factor is diminished, significantly IMO. And while Tiger is playing well at present, he's proven over the last year that a bad round can (and has) cropped up at any time. His stumble to the finish at Doral absolutely would not have happened 5 years ago regardless of how many strokes he was ahead.

Also, Bay Hill has shown this week that low scores are out there. So there's no telling who could throw a 65 up there and make things difficult.

I wouldn't be surprised tomorrow if Tigers runs away and hides. I wouldn't be surprised if Tiger plays poorly. I wouldn't be surprised if someone comes from behind and catches him.

-300 is stealing from the public, I'd take even odds for sure but not certain if I'd go any higher.

It's definitely an interesting exercise, but always remember why the books come out ahead the vast majority of the time.

It's been so dry here the golf course should soak this up ok. Radar looks fine behind this storm. I would think they are going to play, although finishing today seems unlikely now. We will see.

Hey guys here is a brilliant sports betting idea for golf.

Stop using 1 sided books and use the "market making" sites like Pinnacle or BetFair.

That way if you think the odds are too rich, just take the other side. If there is no other side then yes books are going to push their edge as far as they can with no real risk.
