Kinda surprising, now that I think of it, that there isn't a tournament named after Ben Hogan.

When Nelson was alive, all the stars would play because they would talk to him after their round. As nobody wants to talk to mrs Nelson, they don't show up

Way back in the day he had a whole tour named after him.

Hogan was widely considered the unofficial host of the Colonial. Sam Snead never really was associated with a specific PGA tour event, though he was a long time pro for the Greenbrier.

Also, unlike the Palmer and the Nelson tournaments, the Ben Hogan Tour was a paid sponsorship by the Ben Hogan golf equipment company.

I don't understand the dislike for Bay Hill, this is one of my favorite tournaments.

Last year at the Shell Houston we kept seeing this lovely bird walking around the course with a couple guys. Though we got the vibe she was not "with" one of the guys she was walking with, but were probably friends or something. We kept seeing her and she really stood out in her white sundress and tan, fit body, with long brown hair. She wore sunglasses. She kept grabbing my eye because she just really stood out.

Later on we're behind some green and see her and her two buddies in some roped off area behind the green. Moments later Kyle Stanley comes walking off the green and goes over and gives her a kiss. I was like "ahhh now this all makes sense."

Never mind that he got his ass handed to him by Justin Rose playing in the same group. Nice little -7 for Rose, beat Tiger by 4, but that's irrelevant because people suckle Tiger.

And then I expect little nuggets of info about Hoffman, Ryo, Watney, O'hair and Haas as well pretty soon. All guys up there even with GOAT. I'm sure BO wouldn't want to be seen just as a Rose/Rollins fanboi.

To cap it off, I expect to hear an anecdote about Peter Williamson's 83 today, and how BO played with Peter's uncles cousins garage door repairman back in 1974 on the whogivesaratsass tour and BO clipped him by a shot by getting it up and down from a tumbleweed on 18, and when he shook his hand he could tell from the glimmer in that repairman's eye that he knew a guy who one glorious sunny day was going to have a family member have a kid who wouldn't break 80 at Bay Hill.

Yeah that looks like her - though I didn't see her with her sunglasses off iirc. Glad to see she wasn't hiding hideous eyes or something.
