brandel never ceases to amaze. after the tourney on golf central he says how tiger climbed back from 58 in the world 2 years ago to number 2 now and number 1 if he wins bayhill "what everyone thought he would do." except that for the better part of two years he spent questioning if tiger would ever come back. no spine on this guy.

Think Steve definitely deserves some credit for this one and so does Tiger apparently. Cant argue with Tiger when he openly thanked him. In those tens of thousands of hours of golf, he has never putted as well as he did this week. Enough said

Career win percentages via sobel tweets today for tiger and jack. Tiger ~27% Jack (at same age) ~19.9% was 13% lifetime. The debate has much more than this to it but its amazing the clip tiger has won at over the years.

Do you really think anyone here (or anywhere) is seriously crediting Steve Stricker for Tiger's win? It's a media storyline and makes for some fun message board quips. And it is certainly 100% possible that Strick's tip helped Tiger's putting out a bit. So stfu

When Tiger wins the most tourneys this year, regains #1 ranking in OWGR and wins the money title this year, Im sure none of that will matter either, all of which will happen though. LOL Tiger haters

As one of the Tiger dislikers I do think he will regain # 1 position and as I never thought he would not win another major right now would not bet against him His game looked incredible for 3-1/2 rounds. Back 9 today wasn't great but he won.

Also Tiger would be the first to say its all about the Majors

Rory looked great also today but the Tiger Lovers never admit the #1 player in the world is back and on top of his game. Has to be a favorite for the Masters.

Though for me Steve Stricker winning the Masters would be the best or Mike Weir
