Well that is different also. Dental Pain can be the worst.

Lets hope we have a good battle Saturday and Sunday

Looks like TW hit it in water on 6 again. This time after making back to back birdies just prior.

I guess he underestimated how difficult it would be to change all of his equipment

"Wisdom tooth pain" should be a new jack-of-all-trades excuse.

Seriously isn't this only Rory's third tournament all year? He's had plenty of time to remove his wisdom teeth. Such an LOL (if not fake) excuse.

He's not going to hang on to #1 much longer. He's got GOATer, steady Luke Donald who isn't going anywhere, and super hot Sneds right on his tail.

Give him credit easy to miss a putt and miss the cut which I wouldnt blame him for doing. He grinded it out. maybe he needs the paycheck

I guess he wanted to show up the #1 player

If you have real tooth pain, you don't say you're getting it removed soon. You go straight to the ****ing dentist and get that **** handled. (Especially if you're mega rich)

It's good, but he's wrong to leave Weiskopf/Morrish off the list entirely, especially since they belong in the top category. Maybe they are regional or haven't done as many courses so he's not familiar with them. Their designs are among the best I've ever played, and both have done great work since they split up.

Nicklaus designs are...I don't know. He's clearly not my favorite and he has done some forgettable courses, but then again Muirfield Village is excellent and Cabo del Sol (Ocean) may be my favorite course I've ever played. To some degree CdS lays itself out but not entirely...the inland holes are superb and creative.

PGA National is kind of like TPC Scottsdale (perhaps my least favorite Morrish/Weiskopf design), it's 14 mostly unmemorable holes that largely redeems itself with a strong finish.

You never know who came to watch you play that day. How far they drove or from where they flew. That's part of why I never quit.

+1 to this though you owe it to the fans to finish especially when it's not a threat to worsen with play

'Bout tree-fiddy obviously.

I guess Hunter and David don't understand how much spontaneous-onset wisdom tooth pain (SOWTP) can cripple a man.

Or they know Rory is FOS.

I will always remember waking up during my wisdom teeth removal surgery to find my oral surgeon standing over me, straddled, with what must have been a pair of pliers in my mouth, yanking back and forth like crazy. I felt nothing and within seconds closed my eyes again and didn't awake until it was over.

Been playing catch up with this tourney all week due to a new job.

Rory confirmed mad because the tooth fairy didn't leave anything under his pillow. That's an awful excuse bro. Not as easy as it looks to be consistently elite is it young man?

Villegas going 64, 77 to miss the cut deserves more love.

Pulling for Westwood, Weekley to ship. Hell even CHIII who is playing really well so far this season. You guys think he's one of those players who peaks in his 30's like some golfers? He had a little bit of hype when he first came on the scene but hasn't exactly lived up to it.

FWIW Scottsdale is the only Weiskopf/Morrish course I've played. So my opinion is probably skewed.

I'm watching the broadcast now. I pretty much always watch delayed unless it's a major.

Johnny going to town on Michael Thompson's tendency to be indecisive, which is maybe a bit harsh but nonetheless interesting and is a limb that Faldo (or anyone else for that matter) would never go out on.

Also, forget about the "Bear Trap", holes 10 and 11 are munching on everyone's soul. The tenth is a converted par-5 and is long so that's not a huge surprise.
