It's good, but he's wrong to leave Weiskopf/Morrish off the list entirely, especially since they belong in the top category. Maybe they are regional or haven't done as many courses so he's not familiar with them. Their designs are among the best I've ever played, and both have done great work since they split up.
Nicklaus designs are...I don't know. He's clearly not my favorite and he has done some forgettable courses, but then again Muirfield Village is excellent and Cabo del Sol (Ocean) may be my favorite course I've ever played. To some degree CdS lays itself out but not entirely...the inland holes are superb and creative.
PGA National is kind of like TPC Scottsdale (perhaps my least favorite Morrish/Weiskopf design), it's 14 mostly unmemorable holes that largely redeems itself with a strong finish.
