I was close enough to Nike people back in the mid 2000's to know that the waist in his pants was 28" for a good chunk of time. Fwiw.

As for the PED. Why fly in a doctor known for PED and steroids from Canada to treat you when many other doctors available?

Its golf the testing is about as brutal as the NFL. I guess so few NFL players have been caught that only a tiny percentage use.

Will see if he has another major at the end of this year?
tantrums- aside from the occasion club toss or release, some cussing? who the f... doesnt cuss on the golf course. has he cussed out caddies, other players, officals? what are these tantrums? what i see is him taking the high road when others act like garbage to him. what did he do when racist golfer said fried chicken and watermelon at augusta? high road. when steve bagboy acted like a douche? high road. when haney acted like douche? high road.

disregard fans- because he doesnt like to acknowledge fans during a round due to intense focus doesnt mean he disregards his fans. he chooses to separate his time with fans and work. do you see kobe or lebron acknowlegde all their fans during a game?

press conference- so he wanted to stage a controlled media announcement of a very private matter so that he can keep his family from having to face anymore shame. wow so trashy.

back to his old antics - of GOATing? yes sir.

PED- dont even need to address that.

your examples of what makes a human garbage are pretty unrealistic. the small glimpse of events you see on tv is not the entire picture of life. theres more to life then what tv portrays. sometimes the ones that try to act like such an angel when everyones watching are the most warped when all the cameras are off.

Bet.

I truly think I lose this bet more than I win but the time difference makes it about right. Good idea.

Are there any other famous people or athletes you might have gotten close to one day in your life that you might be able to correct their listed heights for?

Yes, because it is very difficult to see how tall someone is when you are right next to them.

Are you serious? Haha

Of course there's people who take it and think it will automatically make them huge. You still have to bust your ass to see any benefit of roiding up. Most people looking for that shortcut aren't the bust ass type.
Once again. Not everyones body reacts the same way and not everyone lifts the same way. Just because you're in the gym busting your ass everyday doesn't mean you're doing the kind of exercises that would make you huge. We don't know what hypothetically he could have been taking and we don't know what kind of lifting he was doing, so stop making generalizations.

I would also assume desperate MLB players trying to gain an edge and seeking out illegal steroids would be the kind of people who would be busting their ass in the gym while they were taking them, FWIW.

I've watched Tiger play several times and never once thought about comparing my height to his to within such a fine detail that years later I would argue about it on a message board.

Along the same lines. I've met Tony Romo twice. Once I commented on how he was smaller than I thought he would be and the next time I thought he was much bigger than I remembered. Whatcha gonna do.

Golfer weights are all ridiculously skewed.

John Daly's wiki says 185
Lee Westwood's says 196
Steve Marino says 180. Marino is clearly 5 pounds lighter than Tiger Woods

At one of the Shell Houston Opens I went to I saw Marino walking by me and I was 6' ~200 at the time and he was definitely larger (heavier at least) than me. Someone actually yelled down from a corporate box as he was walking off the green "HEY SIX FEET ONE EIGHTY!!!" which I thought was funny. He looked annoyed.

And I stood 3 feet from Westwood as he went to grab a Nature Valley snack in the tee box and we were facing eachother and even made eye contact which was weird. Anyway that dude's torso is massive. I would say he was no less than 220. I have recently been up to 214 and am now back down to 206 so I have an idea what 6' 214 would look like and he was bigger. But yeah.. 196. lol.

Anyway I don't know Tiger's weight and I don't care but if I had to bet my life on it I'd say he's on or was on PEDs at some point. Especially with being linked to that Canadian guy.

Wow that is interesting. You noted how Tony was smaller than you thought he would be when you first met him, similar to how when I first stood close to Tiger I noted we were about the same height. Tiger claims to be taller than 6 flat, and you agree that height is very commonly overstated yet you are going bananas over this simple conclusion I've reached.

Tiger's weight gain from age 20 until age 30 has to be right on par with the average weight gain of any golfer, or any athlete with a long career in general, from age 20 to age 30.

It's pretty easy to size someone up in person as long as you account for variables. (shoe type, uneven ground, etc)

Wtf why is this even in question amongst adults??

ARE YOU SAYING THAT WITHIN A FEW FEET OF SOMEONE YOU ARE ABLE TO ACERTAIN THEIR HEIGHT TO WITHIN AN INCH???

My whole point was very simple.

He quotes this article that says Tiger weighs 185. This is obviously a fact as it is in the article.

Then in the exact same article it says he's 6'2. The PGA Tour website says he is 6'1. He says there is NO WAY he's that tall because he saw him one time.

Maybe Tiger was wearing Spikes. Or standing on a tee box. Or who the knows what the **** else. I genuinely don't care. My point was that the difference between 6 foot and 6 foot 2 is very very minor, and he conveniently decided to disagree with that part of his article just because it hurt his point.

The whole point of the Romo story is that after the first time I met him if you had told me he was only 6 foot instead of 6 foot 2 I would never have even thought to argue with you about it, despite the fact that I stood close to him one time and thought he might be a little shorter.

Or maybe I wasn't standing next to him on a golf course?

And I didn't disagree with it bc it hurt my point, I disagreed with it based on my experience(my exact wording was that the 6'2" from the article and 6'1" on PGA Tour were "pushing it if you ask me") The article also says he answered that he weighs between 182-185. A peculiar answer, though something that seems like a very Tiger-like response.

Any comment on Your Boss confirming his waist size from the mid-2000s? Pretty impressive(damn near impossible) for a guy with a 28" waist standing a little over 6'feet tall with less than 10% body fat to tip the scales at 200 pounds.

But of course that is your opinion because you are 6'1" with a 31" waist and have weighed more than 185 the whole time while being in pretty good shape at times. I'm 6' with a 31" waist and would say I'm in pretty good shape but don't weigh more than 170. What's that prove? Nothing, just like your measurements.

Yeah, my comment is I could be wrong. Was just an opinion. I thought he weighed more than that at one point. I just thought the way you presented your argument was ridiculous.

I tried googling for pictures of Tiger standing next to people because now I kinda wanna know how tall he is, but then I realized then we'd just argue about the height of the people standing next to him. But there are quite a few pictures of him standing next to Elin, who is supposedly pretty tall(listed at 5'10 online...but who knows), and he is quite a bit taller than her.

Here is an example, and of course we have to assume she's in flats.

I'm done talking about this now though, cheers.

I could be wrong here but wasnt Tigers workout routine public at one point or you can still find it? Back in the day, I remember reading his workout routine and just thinking wtf is this really necessary for a golfer. Doesnt surprise me at all how ripped he is but it absolutely amazes me at how so many people are pointing the finger saying he was on steroids.

Dont you guys have any friends that work out like 5 days a week? I have seen plenty of people go from skinny to absolutely ripped with no steroids, but just hard work. Id bet alot of money that in his prime never took steroids. Now for his last recovery, its questionable but Id still bet on it being a no.

The UFC pics arent the greatest example though, a better pic would be of weigh ins. On fight night fighters tend to be much heavier than their weigh in weight
