It was nice to see him pull through.

As I was watching it I was thinking if he ever gets in contention in a major they are going to need an EMT to follow him around with paddles.

I played high school golf here in Arizona and played with Charlie a few times. His high school team Red Mountain won state my senior year and my team Shadow Mountain got runner up a bunch of strokes behind. I think he was a junior when I was a senior and he shot 67-68 in that state tournament for the win...ho hum

I remember him as kind of douchey but obv was super good. Good to see him gut it out for the win. I think he only played good in two tournaments all year but that's all it takes!

why is it everytime i try to watch keegan bradely i see him twitching, gyrating, stepping in and out of his shot, hurk and jerk and then he finnally hits it, only to see it was a pitch out to a layup spot. so annoying!

I wonder if Tiger plays Qschool 10 times in a row how many times he makes it. Does he ever miss? I'm following a kid I went to middle school with and it seems so fickle. You par 6 holes in a row and drop 30 spots.

He's gone from the great story out of the 2011 PGA to someone people constantly complain about having to watch on TV, due to his spitting/backing off shots/excessive time taking.

Which people?
Bradley's entertaining, he quit spitting and he can play.
Watching some players (eg vanpelt) will put you to sleep.
For a little mirth I've got my KB copycat tee shot down pretty good.

It just wasn't a great combo.

Anyway, now I'm kinda hoping for a Stricker rout cuz I forgot to set it on my DVR and won't be home to catch it live. Kudos to him for treading water and letting several guys back in and then BAM finishes like he did.
You lost the inability to hit the ball? Why didn't you keep smoking?

Michelson/Bradley was the best pair out there in the Ryder.
Bradley was more animated than ever and a bemused Michelson tagged along.
It was great to watch, for me anyway.

4&3 over Donald/Garcia
2&1 over McIlroy/McDowell
7&6 over Westwood/Donald
Saturday aft 3-0 Mich/Brdley sit : 0-3 Woods/Strick play

You're explaining this to the wrong person, as my post clearly indicates I personally do not have a problem with him. As far as which people, spend more time in this Forum.

Well if we learned anything from last year's discussion, winning this event is as prestigious as any full-field event on the tour, bordering on fifth major status. Thus a huge victory for G-Mac.

And yeah, that chip on 17 was ridic. I wonder if he actually meant to land it where he did.

i dont think anyone denies keegans skills and ability. its just that if you play a lot of golf, having a guy in your party that has an excessively long preshot routine, or starts and restarts constantly because of indecision, can leak into your game and disturb any flow you have going.

one of my friends has a long preshot routine and pulls out of his shot here and there and it gets annoying to the rest of us. so we harp on him all the time, calling him kevin na or yelling "pull the trigger!" when someone takes too much time in their routine it causes me to speed up mine, because i feel our party is falling behind. golf is such a unique sport because there is so much etiquette involved. so everyone should take more responsiblity upon themselves to play in a manner that courteous to everyone else on the course. i feel like some people who constantly take forever to hit a shot or move about on the golf course isnt thinking about anyone but themselves.

however i do think keegans preshot routine isnt that long but the ticks he has draws more attention to it, making it seem longer. it looks like he has terrets syndrome.

also, i think grame was trying to chip it onto the fringe but the ball didnt pop out like he intended to. i think he grinned because he knew he caught a little break in that it didnt get hung up on the first bounce.

"He's contributed more than $14 million of his prize money alone over the years."

but he yelled at a kid and doesn't acknowledge the gallery so i guess that still makes him a douche.

funny to think tiger has donated more prize money than what 90% of tour players have earned over their entire careers.lol

Tiger is the one primarily responsible for these inflated purses, through the interest he has generated over the years. I mean, in what other world can a golfer like Kevin Sutherland make 15 million in career pga earnings, or Rory Sabbatini make 25 million?

Not really sure where to put this, but did anyone else see the final round of the Australian Open? Totally insane:

- three hour delay, never found out why but I'm guessing it was wind since it was blowing sideways the entire day
- Peter Senior, a guy who had the chip yips so bad that he chipped backwards for years, won at the age of 53, ten years older than the past oldest champion and winner of the same event 23 years ago
- Tom Watson had the lowest round of the day by two shots with a 69
- John Senden, the third round leader, made a rare birdie on 18...to shoot an 82
- the hardest hole on the course was a par-5 which is usually reachable in two

Don't know what the average score was but it had to be ridiculously high.

Nice recap. I caught Watson playing a few holes earlier in the week, looked pretty good.
