my mistake. actually the longest USGA match-play match EVER (not just the women's Am). it actually beat out a junior Am. hard to believe how many good looks to win both women have missed during all these extra holes. the girls are now playing the 30th hole.

I gave up watching after Wu's bomb of a putt. How long did it end up going? Found it interesting that the announcers said that only one birdie was made all day in the group before that hole.

13 for 8 playoff to make the usam match play tomorrow morning, on Riviera's famous 10th hole, followed by 14, 18 if necessary.

streaming 730 local, 1030 eastern on usga's facebook page.

Big names in the playoff include:

2015 U.S. Amateur runner-up Derek Bard, 2017 British Amateur champion Harry Ellis, 2017 U.S. Open low amateur Scottie Scheffler, NCAA individual Ole Miss champion Braden Thornberry, and Western Amateur semifinalist Doc Redman
