Fox with 6.5 hours of early round coverage today and tomorrow from the US Senior Open in Sacramento, on FS1. I wonder how much of their crew from Chambers Bay will be there. Then 5 more hours Saturday and Sunday. Seems like way too much for anyone to watch, hope they give the Women's Open at least as much as this.

Executive Director of my home golf association qualified for the US Senior. It will be pretty awesome to see how he plays.

I can't figure you guys out. You rant and rave for more coverage of The Masters, but now complaining about too much coverage of the top 50+ event in the world? Weird.

WAT. you're saying that there's nothing unusual or incongruous about the fact that there is both:

More cable coverage of the us senior open than the masters?
More broadcast network coverage of the us senior open than the masters?

i mean, augusta can do whatever they want. it doesn't mean that the us senior open has ever warranted this much coverage.

seriously tho, 23 hours is really too much air time for monty's sweaty boobs.

also, senior british >> senior us. also, lol senior golf.

Because this is the internet where people complain about Kate Upton being too fat.

First, if you don't follow golfbabes on Instagram I'm not sure what you're doing with your life. Second golfbabes led me to Paige Spiranac a few months ago. A complete smokeshow of a college golfer at SDSU. I passed on this find of gold to a few golf buddies but looks like the world has finally caught up to my headstart because girl is absolutely blowing up.

a few things this past week.....

on web.com... guy opened 61-63-65 and i think he faltered late in the day for the 65 on saturday. that's unbelievable.

canadian tour, that taiwanese kid that finished 2nd for washington at pga tour won in winnipeg.

also on canadian tour, my local guy eugene wong shot 62 on saturday. didn't see his final sunday score but he was +3 for day i think. so assume 62-75. not as bad as 62-85 (84?) from feinstein's "Tales from Q School". actual low score and poor score back to back (either order) is pretty common...... eugene's funny. i see him in things like US Open Qualifying and he's 71-70 but then occasionally he busts the really low scores. maybe that's pretty typical. just thinking he should be a few shots better than 70-71 for the qualifying.

She wants to play on the LPGA, assume she's good enough to do so and if not some old who is in charge of giving out sponsors exemptions stumbled across one of the various articles about her out there now and instantly made some calls. Looking at the Instagram and low post totals doesn't appear she was making a ridiculous effort top self promote, just in the right place at the right time. Of course in this instance quality over quantity might ring true.

For you crazies that don't have IG here is yesterday's vid: https://instagram.com/p/5GQj4SigYQ/
