I've come back from 4 down with 4 to play and won in extra holes. Did it to a friend of mine and kind of felt bad about it.

Looking at the Champions Tour leaderboard today is a time warp. Every single name.

They sure kept their games sharp. You don’t see any other sports that are like golf. Pretty cool.

Yeah it's sad that I remember almost every single one of them playing in their prime playing on the PGA tour. I'm old.

so the Champions tour plays three rounds just like the LPGA, right?
seems optimal for FIGJAM to reduce his opportunities to shoot a 76.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what the LPGA could possibly be thinking with screwing Popov out the 5 year exemption: https://www.golfchannel.com/news/cla...fter-major-win

What I don't understand is this... who and why would this ever be declined?

Quote:
In a statement, the LPGA said this is not the first time that a non-member has won a major championship and received the two-year membership exemption. In fact, the same situation arose last year at the Women’s Open, for Hinako Shibuno, but she declined to accept the membership.

NCAA women's tourney on Golf Channel. More watchable than you might think. Since my team missed the cut, go Wake Forest! Go Rachel Heck!

You heard it here first: Briana Chacon will be the top LPGA talent from this group.

Caddying the KF event in Colorado this week. Signed up as a local caddie as my brother who caddies at Bandon and sometimes on this tour is in town for it.

Got a fun assignment - amateur on a sponsor invite. Plays at Howard University and they just got their D1 golf program going and have support from Steph Curry, UA, Callaway etc.

Practice rounds have been good. Met some cool players (the pros and caddies have all been awesome). This is my second time caddying the event - last time I carried for a pro where my only real job was to carry the bag. This week I’ll be the primary yardage getter and he’ll want me to help read greens and pick clubs and targets. So a lot more work but I’m excited and I hope he plays well and we have a made cut sweat come Friday (or even better!)

Definitely keep us updated.

They played one of the Monday qualifiers at my home course. I could watch it from my house, and then did some walking around and hung out at 17, the drivable par 4. Saw a guy make eagle there. Also saw Sam Saunders. It was pretty cool. I was surprised how well the course held up. Low score was -7, -5 got into a playoff. I thought for sure someone would be at least -9 or better. The weird thing was they set it up pretty short, at 7288 yards. Last day of the club championship last year we played it from 7550.

Interesting about the setup. We did get 9 holes of practice in with a qualifier from your course. Funny story was he was out late and looking at the other qualifier leaderboard for like half his round trying to figure out how someone shot -9.
