That def ain't happening imo.

A friend from my small town is #23 with 3 weeks left on the Korn Ferry Tour(Formerly the Web.com). What is completely crazy this week is 22, 25, 26, 28, and 29 are sitting out. That just blows my mind. 2-7, 9-13, and 15 also taking a break. Top 25 get tour cards. Those top 15 guys are safe but you are still playing for status and a few spots may get you into an extra tourney next year.

Yeah - but after the 3 weeks left on the regular season it's 3 playoff events, one week off and then the start of the PGA fall season.

Got to rest sometime. Missouri in July is decent one to take off.

I dunno, it's also a matter of picking your spots, no? Maybe the course is a total unknown or bad setup for some, and it's not worth the cost of getting out there only to play poorly. I figure the KF tour guys have to be pretty strategic with what they play, they don't exactly make a windfall.

Next to last reg season tourney this week for the Korn Ferry Tour.
27, 30, 34, 36, 37, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 49, 50 all sitting out. These guys must just want to stay on the Korn Ferry Tour or something.

bad news for #23 chris baker. the airline lost all his stuff including his clubs. he's trying to put a set together to play today. what a debacle. looks like tee times got pushed back today at least.

14-year-old Alexa Pano (Lake Worth, Fla) is co-medalist at the U.S. Women's Am. Damn that is impressive.

She's played a few events with the pros as well and hasn't looked out of place.

She is the next Lexi.

Pano with an instant classic in the Round of 16 y'day... losing to rising Stanford senior (and WAGR #2) Andrea Lee in 23 holes.

Three of the top five in the WAGR advanced to the quarters.

Marty Dou completely fell apart in front of the cameras today, he will not be getting a tour card. buddy is sitting #26, but he has a lot of guys to root for to get first or second to take away points. The 2 guys in first and second right now are gaining lots of points to pass him. Hopefully Robbie Shelton dominates this weekend.. and Lingmerth, another quality player.

JFC this kid was pin high in 2 on 18 at Korn Ferry event and made 7. Dropped him from Top 60-ish to 85th and out of the playoffs.

It's brutal out there

yeah my buddy finished 26th... so sick. It looked like Harrington may need birdie on 18 to pass him but then India donked up 18 to double bogey allowing Harrington to be able to make bogey to advance. He made birdie anyhow to finish 2nd, if he finished T3, Baker would have stayed in at 25. Baker finished 30th or 31st few years ago. Maybe he can hot the next three weeks.

Watching the US Am scores come in. There is likely going to be another massive playoff happen. Suspended due to weather and then darkness. As it sits now it's 21 for 18 spots. Some people have 4 holes left though.

Yeah this. I think I remember seeing the 2018 Women's Am playoff streamed. From what I can gather from their site, a 27-for-3 playoff must be going on right now. If I find a stream I'll post it.

Damn went to the gym and missed the stream.

Seems like every picture on the USGA site shows players hitting out of the scrub-grass from off the fairway.

Only two non-Americans in the R16. Squires last man out of the playoff... beats Wu in R64 and now 4up thru 9 in the R16. Nice story.
