He had gcquad stickers on the club face. They let the high speed cameras get club data on the foresite launch monitors and played with them on.

On the bright side pace of play should be a solid 10-15 minutes faster without him

Watching the Champions event at Pebble. First time I have seen the course since I played it. Makes me remember how great that place is.

Race for Dubai is getting good. Only 3 players can win, Fleetwood, Rose and Garcia. Rose is in 1st by 1 shot and Fleetwood and Garcia T2 in the final event.

First round of the final stage of Champions Tour Q school today. Buddy I used to travel the minis with shot 8-under and stands T2. Brian Henninger shot -10, 3 guys at -8, 1 guy at -6. Top 5 get cards.

Don't know exactly how far the course is truly playing but my friend told me that at the previous stage in California there were only 2 par 4's he wasn't hitting wedge into and all the par 5's were reachable. Course was 6900 yards but playing fast. He's long enough but nothing crazy.

I'll be giving it a whirl next year.

Nice; that'll be fun to follow when you tee it up.

The director of golf at my club shot 72 yesterday (T45) - so he's a ways back of 5th. But it seems some low rounds are out there.

Anyone catch the golf 6's event? Some good TV to watch. They need to do a ladies only event like this. Seeing the english ladies was pretty good to watch.

Bama beat dook 5-0 in the semis and then gets curb stomped 5-0 in the finals. No drama ... but the women's tourney delivered.

I never watch the old guys but did today since I didn't feel like changing the channel. Really good crowd in Madison and the exhibition between North/Jeter/Trevino/Favre was entertaining. It's awesome that Trevino can still play a little at 79. North struck the ball like a 15 cap but still has some short game.

Caddied in the US Am qualifier at Fort Collins Country Club in Colorado yesterday. Long hard day walking 36; pretty warm but the breeze was light most of the day which made it very manageable.

My buddy didn't qualify and had a rough start including 5 putting a par-3 for triple. Got it mostly together and shot rounds of 79 and 74. He's barely under the handicap threshold (he's 1.9 and you need to be under 2.4) but wanted to give it a shot as he never did when he played D2 golf. Now he's gonna look into more mid-am events, etc. The college kids are too good.

This post is because a kid from Texas A&M (Dan Erickson) shot 61 in the morning with two bogies. (Par 70) and shot 29 on the back nine of that round. Course was in great shape and the greens were super pure and fast; but it is blowing my mind that he shot that score.

Yep that's exactly what I figured out when trying to qualify for my State Am. The college kids are just too good. I was a bit longer than one of them by around 10 yards and a solid 30 yards past the other but the difference is they can hit 12/14 fairways in a round when I hit 4/14.

I registered for the State Mid-Senior Am. That should be more my speed. The course is set up at 6,600-6,800 yards instead of 7,200. The last one the cut was at 161. I can do that.

Steph Curry made his 2nd web.com start today.

+4 through 11, and then 3 birdies coming home. T106, 71, tied with among others Michael Weaver, and ahead of quite a number of journeymen.

His chances of making the cut are still really low (it'll be -3 or -4), but he did hit every green on his second nine, missed a few good chances, and hit 14 greens total on the day.

It streamed on their website/facebook/twitter etc.

6 groups of 4 played the 17th. Two birdies were made.

The two went to the 18th and one made a mess of it and the qualifier advanced with a 6.

Super fun - these XX for YY playoffs are great.
