Its funny too because I have the confirmation email that says they're all left handed. Titleist said the person who got the order then entered it into their system wrong and they're going to rush them a bit, but still, lame.

Less funny: had an invite from a member to play pasatiempo this weekend. Should I play with a gap from my 19 degree hybrid to my 52 degree gw? haha. I do have a 21 degree hybrid and a 21 degree 3 iron in my closet as well.

That's the funniest thing I've read in a long time! Glad you can laugh about your misfortune (at least a little).

I hate the fact that in Poland you can only play golf between April and November

It's almost golf weather in Toronto. A full week of positive temperatures is all I need.

I'm goona call it good enough in N.W Ohio. As planed its goona be almost 60 here Thursday, so the plan is play a little 3 hole triangle couple of times, then drown myself in basketball, poker, steak, and beer for 12 hours.

Tell me about it man! I've been prepping all my stuff so I'm ready to go whenever the weatherman agrees.

Bought an R7 SuperQuad off eBay, and am currently talking to a guy about buying these Titleist DCI Oversize Irons.

He is asking $220 for the irons and said he would throw in his R7 Draw 3-Wood for a total of $270. I'm waiting for him to send me some more detailed pictures before I counter offer, but my stance right now is that $220 is pretty expensive for these irons, no?

Got out yesterday in the short game area of a course I live close to. Fun to get out again. Got some much needed practice with my 60* that I never really had good opportunity to practice with prior. Maybe I'll get out and play a round today, weather is damn good right now.

Hey, I'm too lazy to search for them but I remember using a couple sites last year to book tee times on the cheap. Always got a great deal with cart and everything.

A quick google search brings up www.golfnow.com but the website is either revamped and unfamiliar to me, or is not one of the ones I used last year.

I'm in Canada but I doubt that makes a difference. Thanks.

golfnow is the best place for deals, especially around the niagara area.

Thanks Spott, I guess I just don't recognize it.

Another thing I remembered is the Niagara Parks VIP E-mail list, which is basically the same thing only for Whirlpool, and both Legends courses. I booked through that a lot last year.

Yesterday I met a guy who went to high school with Tiger's new girlfriend and had just found out that she was dating Tiger. He knew her pretty well, said she was always a really good athlete--star volleyball player and now trying to get into pro golf. Her dad pitched for the Cardinals and her stepdad is an executive at IMG, so she's obviously pretty well-off financially.

Rofl, that sucks.

This snow we're getting in Southern Ontario is crushing my dreams.
I've been gearing up for about a month and today I finally get my new irons.

It's going to be a long ass wait until I actually get to golf.

baumer, yep, today's little weather incident really sucks. A few burlington courses were opened already and had to put re-tarp their greens to prep for the snowfall and cold weather. However, it'll only be a week or two until we're up and at them. We should play sometime out in Niagara this summer. I've been going to the Casino a lot lately to play 1/2 and I'll probably schedule some golf+card days that way this summer. I played Battlefield once and I really liked it, and Lochness Links is a major favourite of mine.

Ucbananaboy, I'm jealous! Where are you playing? I went a few years ago to Hilton Head and it was an amazing get-away.

It was pretty nice here in Calgary for like a week and a half, was almost hitting 10 some days and the snow was disappearing quickly.

Obviously it's been snowing since yesterday though and still pouring right now. argh, I am just dying to swing a club, it's been like 5 months.

Do you play at Casino Niagara? I don't play there anymore. The room has been run by amateurs since it opened, and the dealers are so mistake-prone it's unbelievable. I play over the river at Seneca Niagara. 1/2 and it's a much better place to play, for every reason.

I'd definitely be down for a round or two this summer. I plan to spend as much time golfing/practicing as I reasonably can. I haven't played Loch Ness or Battlefield yet, but Whirlpool is nice (except for the helicopter tours that fly overhead) and Ussher's Creek was something to behold last summer. PM me when the weather is nicer and we'll work something out.
