I have a bag boy pull cart. Only two wheels and nothing fancy. Unsure if it could even be shipped, or if you are interested, but thought I'd throw it out there.

random question:

do most pros/really good golfers have the same flex shaft in their driver/3wood or even hybrid?

i know that most of the time people have a heavier shaft in a 3wood than a driver but i was curious if most tend to stick with the same type of shaft as well. for example, one of the mitsubishi white/red/blueboard shafts in driver --> same type of shaft but heavier version in 3 wood with same flex etc

yes same flex my friend who played for SDSU even has x-flex in his LW.

For the most part people have consistency among all the shafts in the clubs.

I think putting an x-flex in wedges would be ok if you hit the ball to high and would like to flight it lower.

Most people go softer in their wedges. Or at least to a shaft that feels softer, ie Rifle Spinners.

Quick update on my Kingdom59 order that provides some insight into their model. This was an email I got today. Interesting part is bold.

Interesting. Well, I guess that cuts down on their borrowing costs. And I'm sure their terms say they can cancel your order for any reason in case they can't acquire what they sold you.

Ah your right... just rang a bell.

I used to be so engrossed with golf equipment/the latest technology. Clearly out of touch now.

Saw a post in the "what'd ya shoot today" thread that struck a chord with me. When I golf 18 I have zero interest in getting lunch at the turn. All I want to do after the 9th green is head to the 10th tee. I often play with people though that would never even consider NOT getting lunch at the turn, and it seems like half the time they order something that takes 10 minutes to make.

Yes, this drives me nuts. Who can't go 4 hours without eating?

I have a suspicion that my view is an unpopular one though. Thoughts?

At the course i play you can drop off an order when coming off the 7th green and pick it up when you come back past after the 9th. Granted it is just hot dogs and the like. However im with you that i dont understand people who cant go a round without eating.

The only reason we normally get chow is that for ex. on sat we have to get a 6.45am ferry to go over to the course and have about 5 mins turnaround time once we get to the course to put our shoes on so there is no time for some food.

If the beer cart goes missing during the back 9 then that is another story..

I would probably win the stakes for how much do you have to pay for your average round stakes as well.

God damn this game and needing to get a regular fix

I almost always eat something at the turn. Most likely just a protein bar of some sort, but if I have a 10 am tee time or something I will grab a hot dog or pre-made sandwich. But never would I go in and order something that took time to make.

Ditto. The golf course is the only time I allow myself to eat hot dogs. You're damn sure I'm scarfing one on the way to 10.

Oh, I should mention that the friends I have that always get lunch at the turn also will routinely pull into the parking lot at 9:59 for a 10:00 am tee time. Again, drives me nuts. I've fixed that by lying to them about the actual tee time.

On a side note, I think more people should eat during the round. Not that a hot dog is ideal or anything, but I find that if I don't eat anything I am just wiped by the time I am done, especially down here in FL.

Anyone who orders lunch at the turn that has to be made is doing it wrong, along with showing up 5 (or 1) minute before the tee time, grrrrr. I usually have my bag stuffed full of food so I can eat a sandwich and some fruit while I play, otherwise my brain will blow up, and I get really mad when I'm hungry haha.

I was chipping and putting today and I couldn't find my cell phone after. I searched the house and car and it was nowhere. Went back to the course about an hour later and somebody turned it in to. This is part of the reason I love golf...good people play this game. I lose this anywhere else and it's likely already on ebay.

I found a near new Vokey 56 greenside and turned it in. That almost implies that I hate golf.

Nope, it was a muni. I left a club greenside a few months ago and somebody turned that in as well. I hate people in general, and obv there are exceptions, but I think golfers are among the most trustworthy people as a whole.
