Is this really true? I know when I was taught very young, it was interlock.
Then, about 10-15 years later when I picked it up again and began playing seriously (about 10 years ago) I relearned with overlap. However I'm considering going back to interlock, as I am finding a lot of inconsistency with my grip.
I've seen from a lot of various teachers/clips that advocate it doesn't really matter whether it is ten finger, interlock or overlap -- do what feels most comfortable, provided the club is sitting in the hands/fingers properly.
