I am only mildly trolling you. I am always working with wedges on radar at home and have gotten good at hitting a mph. I am highly likely to land a shot inside 50 yards +/- 1 yard, I just pull way to many of them 10-15 feet left and then land the proper trajectory depending on the greens.

Currently in my bag (black tie shaft) and loving it. It has a great look that is confidence inspiring for me and the dispersion is great; distance is solid.

Did an outdoor trackman fitting for the driver and it beat out the M1 M2 Titleist and Callaway for me. Closest was M2 and it came down to feel/looks.

Stock up on those black tie shafts, things are no looking for Matrix to be staying in business. They are basically in a bank forced shut down inventory audit.

You are correct with 99%+ of golfers. But when you have a couple players ITT that can currently shoot in the low 60's, you might want to reevaluate that 3 yards.

Was messing around with some stuff when I was putting new grips on. I am trying progressive swing weights getting a point lighter every 2 clubs and then putting 12 grams underneath the grips in my hybrids for a bit of a counter balanced feel, felt good.

Anyone here ever try smart drugs to improve their focus in golf tournaments? If so which ones? Asking for a friend.

If one has focus issues in tournaments, drugs won't help. Your "friend" is probably just going about things in the wrong way, which is common with players not used to tournament conditions.

For sure helps with focus. Especially towards the end of a round in hot/humid conditions where you're going to typically be a little tired and more prone to mental errors.

Beta blockers is your best bet even though it doesn't so much help you focus. Any sort of stimulant like adderall is playing with fire. While they will help for 1 day if you can get the dosage right once you have been up for over 24 hours on it with out sleep it really goes from helping to hurting. Plus your body will overheat easily on stims, bad things happen from there.

Had to google Modafinil. Very interesting

My grandma used to live across from a canyon and we came over to a rattler chilling in the walkway inside the house. Took the golf club and chopping off the head line though.

What do you guys consider fair for setting handicaps for team scrambles? we are doing a sim ryder cup and people are bitching about caps, so i need some outside opinions.

2 person teams
alt-shot & scramble
everyone has a current index

What should I be doing for off season putter work? Tried putting on my carpet during the season but the speed threw me off during rounds. Have a crummy indoor putting green but it's not great. Anyone have something they like?

call synlawn in your area and ask if they have any precision putt remnants. 15' rolls, so when they have 6' left over, it is a 6'x15' piece and then just use some of those metal cup things with the flaps your ganpoppy use to have. i still have a couple somewhere

make sure precision putt, it has a backing and will relax flat on cement fairly quickly if rolled up

oh, these things...

50% for scramble and if match play base holes where you get pops off team total.

Alt shot is weird and I have never done it. Probably 50% off low guy as well. That or you could do something funky like 100% off low guy but only give .5 stroke per person. Like If low guy is scratch, his partner is a 7 against a 5 and a 10. Team with scratch guy gets 0.5 stroke on 1-7 handicap holes. The other team would get a full stroke on 1-5 handicap hols and 0.5 strokes on 6-10 handicap holes

Just focus on the stroke itself not distance. I like to do a modified gate drill. I have a piece of tape that is a few inches long and put ball in front. Then 3 feet away I put 2 pill bottle caps down with only about a half an inch on both sides for ball to go through and I hit 25 straight putts without touching the caps or I start over. Then I do the same with 5 feet and give myself slightly more room for error.
