I am in the backyard. Only gets down to ~40 here on a cold night so no biggy. I bring it up to around 60* with a propane heater
everything is in my backyard thread starting here:

but I don't believe I ever mentioned simulator cost though
Skytrak, $2k (there is a promo RIGHT NOW for $300 off) (rockbottomsports coupon code works for additional $$$ off)
The Golf Club (sim software) $1k (I think the promo for $900 is still going)
BenQ 1085ST projector $900
Impact screen $200
Cage ~$400 ($250 for the 20x10, then I converted the top to pitched)
Tarps $600
Country Club Elite 5x5 mat $500
Fiberbuilt single sided mat with foundation $600
I went a little mat crazy.
I already had an i5-2.66 that ran the software decent, but i killed it, so spent another $1k on an i7/memory/video card upgrade. the game is video card intensive over cpu.
If you are indoors, a lot of the cost outside of the skytrak/sim sw/projector will come from how nice you want the area to look. i don't get hung up on that stuff.
