Dom, get a 6H LDO
lol....I hadn't thought of that....I hit my 6 iron fine....a 5 iron is hit or miss for me, but there are some times I want to hit the 5 iron and not the 5h.

I am currently in the market for a driving iron. Probably will end up with the 3i or 2i T-MB at some point. My 3h seems to be getting away from me a bit lately and want to try something else.

It's all personal preference but I would say that 90-95% of the people playing these days are better off going with a hybrid.

I do use a Titleist 915 2 hybrid and then move to a 3i to PW, then 52 and 58.

I actually use it kind of a lot because it's point and shoot compared to my 3 wood, with which I am an incompetent moron and which should therefore never leave the cold confines of my trunk.

The D, 3W (13.5 I think?), 2H (18 I think?), 3-PW, 52, 58 setup reduces gaps for me, but that's only because I use the 58 for basically everything within 90 yards, which for some people is totally lol and for others is fine.

It's not a driving iron, just a hybrid, but in theory it's the same thing you're asking about. Works for me, or at least it did when I wasn't terrible.

I use a Ping Eye2 1 iron, but it's part of my set. Very useful, since I do not hit fairways or hybrids well.

so i fixed my swing earlier itt. love it. but it hurts. my old banana ball swing was very body friendly.

i use to be very bendy. i've never hit the ball far and there was a time in my search for distance that I had a swing that my driver head would actually hit the outside of each knee. lol, had it perfected to the point that I would bruise my knees each round.

it was a joke of a swing, but it worked at the time.

my new swing feels fine while executing it, but my right-side ribs hurt the next day. i'm simply not as flexible as in the past...

so yeah, long story short, please recommend some exercises / warm up routines

buy Yoga Studio app for $5. Haven't done it enough to notice an affect on my swing but I sure feel good after.

Playing in the wind is always interesting. From yesterday:

162y - 5 iron
191y - 7 iron

Both hitting the green. As if golf wasn't difficult enough.

Been windy as hell here lately and looks to continue. Four-club winds on some holes. Don´t hate it but it´s getting really cold too so not a great combo. One day hit 7 iron 115y and 200y.

Crazy wind here too yesterday.

Hit 6 iron on a downhill 124y par 3 ... came up short.

So who wants to come to Tampa and play a little golf

My partner for member guest had to bail (5 days before the event). Marital issues has sidelined him. I'm a sad panda. Hope I can cancel out without a penalty.

This Saturday Ill be playing an 8 hr bring your best scramble lol. 40 teams playing. 8somes with 2 groups on every hole and 2 holes will have 4 groups on the tee box waiting for 8 guys to hit. It is brutally slow.
For anyone that cares, this took 7 hrs and 15 minutest to finish. We were 1 shot out of the money because we made par from 42 out LOL. Winning score was -19 which was 3 better than 2nd. This is the lowest winning score of all time, my buddy happened to play with this group and just said they made absolutely every putt. Wasnt even sure if the 4th guy got to putt. They made 3 eagles which was stupid good since it was cold and windy. He said it was just crazy and one guy who couldnt have been taller than like 5'11 carried it like 320.

Oh well, got a bring your best big cup scramble this saturday. On to the next one!

hmmm, pretty tempted to pull the trigger on them and the benchtop re-grip station. Anyone use it before?

The free shipping must be for frequent flyers, mine comes up 8 buckaroos with just the grips in cart. $22 with the station.

Put your grips on with air, I dont ever use tape and solvent anymore. All I have is the golfworks? vice on my bench and it works perfectly. Air is the way to go for sure. If you have not tried it, you should definitely look into it. IMO anything else is wasting money

I caught a bit of that last night. It's just insane of fast they swing a club. Would be really curious to see someone like DJ swing for the fences to see what he could put up.

Nowhere near what these LD guys put up. It's a totally different ball game.
