On fairway cart might help a bit, on tee box I keep looking for any shade if at all, even if it's like further back I go there and tee it up

The only time shadows bother me is while putting and the sun is really low in the sky. Sometimes the shadow of my putter is not quite in line with my putting stroke and it can be a bit disorienting.

Also have trouble with my shadow but it's mostly when the shadows edge is over the ball. Essentially if the ball moves in and out of shade I find it pretty disturbing, if it's in my shadow the entire time then not as big of a deal.

pretty much loving the simulator. played pebble, royal st. george, pinehurst #2 and the back 9 at bethpage and merion this weekend. arms could fall off at any time.

first round i played, i was taking all kinds of mulligans and quickly learned that wasn't going to work unless you like playing 2 (or 3) rounds in one. no fun that way at all.

the wgt software sucks balls, but switching to the golf club soon which is 1000000% better.

i'm using a SkyTrak (awesome price, decent launch monitor) and the WGT game (sucks ass).

SkyTrak is ~$2300 and it's good enough that I see people building specific sim rooms for it or just setting up camp in the garage.

I have a cage out back I use it in. Using a monitor right now, but going to cover my enclosure and get a projector/screen eventually.

Reveals in a week.

If you haven't played peehs before, it's a game of knowledge, guessing and strategy. I have posted a list of 10 golf-related questions. You're trying to give me correct answers that match as FEW people as possible. Some of the questions are a little challenging to get a correct answer, others are easy. You enter by sending me a PM of your answers.
Going to bump this just once, deadline is tomorrow evening. At least a couple golf forum regulars are in!

Has anyone tried the OptiShot? I was leaning towards that one.

Lots of happy optishot users in the forums above. (http://golfsimulatorforum.com/forum/optishot)

But it does seem that most of them end up upgrading eventually. I couldn't go that way because I am outdoors and infrared outdoors is no bueno

Thanks Thinman. I have a room that has high ceilings, and my kids would love it too. In addition, there's an outside shot at me being a high school golf coach in the spring. I could use this Sim a ton.

quitting clubs, bags, balls, and anything else that's not clothes, hats and shoes.

they've announced that they have a company-wide sales target of $50 billion by the year 2020. Golf equipment was one of their worst performing divisions and was an obvious choice to ditch based on that target.

predicting many, if not most of their players under contract will continue to wear nike apparel and play other clubs. nike golf's apparel sales are crazy good.

I just read something this morning that was speculating that Nike was throwing in the towel on 2016 in anticipation of a total relaunch of the equipment division in 2017. Obviously that's not the case, but it was a reasonable theory based on the drastic club price cuts.
