So for fun I thought I would share the tough stretch of holes that always kill me on one of my courses:
#9 342y Par 4
Starting point in the pic is actually the gold tees (I play blue). Alything in the right rough slopes down towards the cart path and OB although it will not roll all the way OB. My 3 wood reaches the bunkers on the right, usually between the first one seen and the next set of 2. Depending on wind this leaves me between an 8 iron to a 54* wedge into the green. Anything left gets eaten up by the bunker quickly.
Where I miss: In the water off of the tee. Anything left slopes to the water. Since I never cross land it's hitting 3 off of the tee.

The blue tees are actually to the right of where it shows. It's all carry over the water. Left of the green is trees and OB. This hole usually plays against the wind as well.
Where I miss: Left. If you are lucky enough to hit the cart path you are even further left with no shot at hitting the green that slopes towards the water.

Anything tee shot left of the fairway rolls right into the water. The pic shows 260 but my 3 wood if I go the way the line appears I am in the trees. It's more like 230 on that line. Any shot right of the fairway bounds towards the cart path and the trees.
The green is elevated with a tree short and left that will collect balls. If you miss the green right you are in a sandy area (but not a trap) where it's almost impossible to hit the green. Bumping it short doesn't work as the ball sticks to the hill.
Where I miss: Question is where I don't miss. I go into the water left and the trees right. When I do hit a good shot it's still a tough green to hit.

You have a very tight chute to hit through off of the tee. Trees left are jail and you have to pitch out to the fairway, or if you are unlucky, it bounces OB. The trees immediately right of the tee box collect any shot right.
Where I miss: As this is probably the toughest hole for me on either course, I hit my ball in the left trees about 90% of the time. When I pitch back to the fairway I have to get up and down from anywhere between 80 and 130 yards to make par. This hole is a bogey or double for me a lot.
