So I pulled a Bryson Dechambeau and got my 5iron through wedges all the same length and totally love it, got them back today and hitting all my shots great and more importantly I'm so much more confident.

Take the club you feel most confident with, 8 iron for me and get em all done the same length. I promise you won't regret it. Yes I know I might lose 5 yards, that doesn't matter to me cause I'll simply adjust.

Really? Hmmm. So you have a 4I loft with an 8I shaft, please report back when you play a round. Interested in how that works.

A lot of the courses I play wont kill you for missing right and left, but it depends. Guess that's what I am getting at to, when not to hit driver and when to hit driver. But generally speaking, i need to be hitting driver less often than 3's and 5's, thoughts?

im pry bogey golfer maybe slightly better. gonna get my handicap finally, using "thegrint" app. last 9 holes i think i only hit 1 fairway. also, the club is flex i believe. i didn't even consider this when buying nor did i look or see if they had both variants. guy at the range brought it up to me, seemed knowledgeable or at least acted it. i dont know my swing speed. I can drive a ball fairly well. Few years back at Golfsmith demoed TM rocketballz and was closing in at 300 pretty consistently. Thats the only time ive tested, on the course though im thinking more of 265 to 285 is generally where im landing(old driver 10.5)
You're probably better off using driver on most tee shots if you're a bogey golfer.

I'm just struggling with my release patterns, but it's a process.

Anything I should know/be prepared for golfing in the rain? I'm usually a fairweather golfer so never really have and it looks like it will be raining throughout most of our golf trip this year.

Rain gloves are a must.

As in 2 of them? Or just one on my normal glove hand.

They come in pairs. It's a different material. Wet grips are a nightmare usually, with rain gloves you won't be bothered at all.

Rain gloves are great, they get better when they're wet.
Not all rain jackets are as effective as others; you get what you pay for.
Wipe your clubs after every shot and make sure you completely dry everything after the round; especially irons and wedge heads.
Bring a few towels every round and try to keep the dry one dry for as long as possible.

Lots of people use umbrellas as well, but I'm not a fan of juggling them along with everything else. Does your bag have a rain hood? You'll also want a decent waterproof hat if it's raining a lot.

Take Bubba's word for it and don't even play. Got no chance in the rain.

I'm always praising rain grip gloves. I use one as my normal glove because you can't sweat through it. It's 20 for a pair and I just give the glove for the right hand to my lefty friend that doesn't play much and doesn't mind a black glove. They're amazing

Footjoy are the only ones I have experience with

http://www.footjoy.com/catalog/product/67267

Also, those saying "the wetter the better"...I'm not sure about that. It's always very consistent, even when completely dry.

Hirzl have some kangaroo gloves that are supposedly awesome in rain. Haven't tried them myself, but a buddy bought some and says they're very good. Salesman had him put on the glove and then drenched it with water to prove it got better the wetter it was and my buddy was certainly convinced.

+1 to footjoy. I carry three pair when it's really wet and will rotate them out when necessary (yes, they can get too wet)
