The Haney Project: Charles Barkley is pretty hilarious.

Lots of slow-mo of CB's WORST SWING EVER!

Meh, I played through Ryan Palmer this summer, hit it inside him on a 190 yard par 3 and said TYVM.

Any recommendations for shoes around $100 or less? Am I looking solely (pardon the pun) for comfort or are there other factors to consider?

tuq's "Dream Course" is the longest round in history.

I'll repeat my opinion that it would be a lot easier to just build it using same numbered holes. E.g., for hole #4, have a thread to nominate some of the best #4 holes in golf rather than make it wide open to include any hole on any course. Then vote on those nominated.

I'd nominate Spyglass Hill's #4 for such a thread.

fyi for Canadians, golftown's annual re-grip event starts today for leaderboard members and on the 28th for non-members. They are promising a 24 hr turn around time for members.

Pleading guilty you really don't have to say much, I guess that you more or less can have your lawyer do it for you.

I still thought you could plead for a less harsh punishment at sentencing

I find blade putters to be awesome for "feel" guys and "mallet" putters to be great for technical guys. I used to use a blade and I made a ton of longer putts. I switched to a 2ball for more consistency. Overall, I probably don't make nearly as many long putts, but am much better from 4-12 feet.

Every once in a while if I get into a funk, I will switch back to a blade or a really short ping anser and ride out the impending hotstreak for a few days before switching back to my 2ball.

+1 mirrion. At best a month and a half until start of season, at worst not until the end of may over here. As we have spent all of january in the deep freezer, -19C at the worst, I have no idea how much time the course needs to be playable. The worst winter in ages, global warming my frozen butt.

Yeah, I'm pretty anxious to get this season started since I'm going to try and cut my handicap down by at least half and all.

I need some help. I am a "5" handicap who doesn't hit the ball all that well, who has Hogan Apex Irons that he has had for almost 10 years now. I am just about ready for some new irons finally and have no idea where to start, as I stopped paying attention to iron technology a while ago. Help please? Also fairway woods? anyone?

try the AP2's, they are awesome. i'm not much of a club junkie so haven't hit a lot of different sets but they are the best irons i have played. fairway woods, just find something you like the look/feel of and get a shaft that goes well with your golf swing. adams hybrids are also great.

I'd recommend the Mizunos. I'm playing the MX-25s right now which are for the mid-handicapper, they give you a lot of forgiveness and are pretty easy to hit. I'm going to upgrade mine sometime in the near future, whenever I can find somebody I trust that will fit me correctly. I'll probably go somewhere in the MP-57 to MP-62 range which give you a little more of a blade feel still with some forgiveness. Those might be your best bet since as you stated you don't hit the ball all that well. Just test some of them out and see what you like best.
