Those spin rates are pretty accurate because I just got the same results from a different golf store. Ball flight looked the same as on the course. I hit my ball a mile high. Tried out the I25 8 degree with a stiff .75 gram shaft. Added 25 yards to my drive. Only negative is the $400 price. Going to either wait until the end of the year, or see if I can find something cheaper online.

hmmm...I have a ping g10 9* stiff shaft. I never got much roll, but didnt spin drives when I was younger. I wonder if its a thing in the ping build.

Finally got my Callaway Apex irons from golf town today and felt like a kid on Christmas morning unwrapping a present - - I couldn't open them any faster.

Anyway, I hit up the driving range and feel good with them. I think it's going to take a few more outings to get fully used to them, but when I pure it, ball flight is drastically better.

Went from an 89 to shank city and can't break 100. Sprained my ankle and can't really put much weight on it. Thinking that could be the reason I'm mi****ting a lot of balls.

Ed, you suck at golf because it's a difficult game that requires a ton of practice. Otherwise, you suck, but should just do your best to enjoy the game.

Have friends coming to town this weekend to play lots of golf. I'm a 10. Others are +2, 10 and 20. Outside of wolf what are the best games that allow playing our own balls and getting some competitive rounds happening. Round robin of HU match play sounds fun.

Would pairing the 20 and +2 vs two 10s and playing straight combined score match play work or is that unreasonable?

The +2 is virtually unbeatable if you do three 6 hole matches with no handicap. He's always on the best team.

High-ball / low-ball adjusted with handicaps.

Two man teams. You play your own ball (with strokes).

If Team A went 5-5 and Team B went 5-6. Team A wins 1 point because low-balls tied and high-balls 5 beats 6.

So say gross scores are 4-6 vs 5-5. It's a wash.

Auto-presses when 2 down.

We also award dots for birdies, skins (net), sandies. Team Closest to Pin on Par 3 (must make par). If you win both on a side that's a "mini" and worth double. If you win all four Par 3s, that's a "Maxi" worth quads.

I haven't been there this year, and this could be completely wrong, but my guess is you'll probably get out by 430.

yay finally broke par again for the first time in a long time. 4 birdies and two bogeys (two three putt bogeys, I might add, which was annoying because I was putting really well all day outside of that).
