Hang on here. Let's get some things straight.

If a club is NEVER the right club to hit then yes, it is more or less "useless" the way you are intending to use it. I don't dispute that. I would never knowingly pull a club that I thought would lose .12 strokes to par when I felt that another club would only lose me .09 strokes to par.

However, I do feel like you should always stock your bag with your best 14 clubs, at all times. If for no other reason than "because you can".

And that club goes from "useless" to "very useful" if it happens to be your driver and you get to use it for a drop.

Other than that, I think you have at least been fair in your responses to me. We've argued and stuff but I don't feel like I should ignore you. Those other guys are like 15th, 16th, and 17th clubs though. No reason to keep them around!

have now all been put on Ignore. I see absolutely zero reason to read anything these guys write.

BreakYaNeck
ReidLockhart
Spgranger

are all really close to going on the list.
This **** is epic

He's not on ignore. You can't read.

Also, I forgot... I meant to list you on the "close to being put on ignore" list.

This post clinches it. There is zero reason to listen to you. Welcome to ignore.

MOD - please ignore my trolling post complaint - my mistake.

I thought ARC must be trolling - my bad.

What real life scenario exists where this is true?

There have been two separate arguments in this topic.

1) Should ARC replace his 3 iron with a hybrid? The answer to this is almost certainly yes, but the benefit is probably marginal because 27's hit everything ****ty.

2) Would ARC be better off playing with 13 clubs than with 3 iron in his bag? This is a course management question that only ARC can answer. If he's hitting it in only specific spots and not just blindly pulling it because "omg 200 yards", then it seems like it could be ok. Whether or not a 27 had the ability to make that decision is a different discussion, but I'm giving ARC the benefit of the doubt here.

In summary, hybrid>3 iron sparingly used>13 clubs.

When they hit the club so badly that the player loses considerably strokes from mi****s the majority of the time they hit it. Honestly, pretty much just Driver + LW would be my guess.

I agree with the rest of this almost completely, though I think from person to person the difference between a 3i and a 3 hybrid can be pretty substantial (even for a 27 hc).

I want to further clarify a point I made a long time ago itt that once I purchase a 5h or something, I will almost certainly pull the 3i from my bag. Therefore it's also a matter of financial/laziness logistics. In the meantime, I'm keeping it in the bag and using is as I deem fit.

You had a group of friends hanging around that you would run over to celebrate with when you won a big pot. At one point they left to go get some refills(they were very well hydrated) and you won a huge pot, ran over for celebrations and high fives only to find your friends weren't there. Luckily I was there, gave you a high five and a "oh yeaaaaa" and you seemed to go with it.

Cool deep run.

I don't think it's him. But yeah I remember that guy and he acted like a monkey at the tables. Either it's him or it's a guy who thinks that guy is cool. In any case he's on ignore now.

If it is him I feel even better about ignoring him. He was a complete attention whore at the WSOP and literally acted like a monkey the entire time. Then like 2 years later he was totally silent at the tables. He may have bi-polar disorder. Hopefully not because that disorder sucks to have and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Anyway I won't see any of his posts anymore.

LOOOL. Yeah the guy who writes pages of complete garbage attacking other posters and then telling them to stop bullying him doesn't have bi-polar disorder. But I do LOL

You are a case study for case studies arc, but don't worry because since you admitted you shoot a 27-handicap it absolves you of any wrong-doing when you dump verbal diarrhea all over this forum

Since his only thread ever started is of hi 24 tabling I'm pretty sure it's him. That was quite a ME run but wow we're you off the rails, much like this thread!

I know we are still talking about 3 irons, but I had a question about putting. My lag putting has gotten very good, however now I think it has gotten so good that I am lagging instead of trying to hole the putt. If that makes any sense. I'm afraid if I try to hole a putt, that I'm gonna fly by the hole, and thus leave everything short.

I'd honestly say Hevad Khan was probably the least favorite person to watch at the WSOP. Slightly worse than that idiot from Costa Rica with "da chark!"

Too bad, the die is cast. Looks like phb has like 50 posts itt the last few hours and at a glance they are all his typically worthless trolling, capped with an unnecessary attack at RaiNKhAN. But of course, that's phb's m.o., which is to lash out at people more successful than him. Which to be fair is pretty much everyone with an internet connection.

Rarely look at this thread, hope it doesn't suck this bad all the time...

What distance are we talking about here? Or are you saying that your lagging is now affecting your 15-20 footers as well?

saying that no matter how far the putt is outside of 4 or 5 ft, I am constantly coming up an inch or 2 short. Whether its the right speed wrong line, or right line wrong speed. It's almost as if mentally I am thinking just get it close, instead of put it in the hole. And I know "that's what she said."
