Anyone heard of easygolforder.com?

Some of the prices on that site are just flat out ridiculous, like titleist ap2 for 349.00?

What am I missing?

99% these are counterfeits. So many red flags.

1. Pricing way below OEM's minimum acceptable price.
2. Shipping 4-5 days to US, 5-7 to UK = coming from China
3. Payment by Western Union accepted
4. No duty, they'll mark shipments as "gift"

How many more do you need?

My brother is playing in the Buick Open Pro Am this week, teamed up with Corey Pavin! I will hopefully get an autographed hat.

Good call bonds. I knew it sounded too good to be true.

I'm rebuilding my swing from the ground up per Hogan's fundamentals.

Previously and for the last 8 years since I started playing I have been swinging a bastardized version of my terrible little league batting swing. I batted .186 in the season before I quit, by way of reference. That swing was very armsy, very inconsistent, and every so often incorporated a reverse pivot that was devastating to my consistency. In addition, I used a ****ty interlocking grip which was not nearly strong enough, and had lots of problems with the club twisting in my hand.

Despite these problems I was still able to generate a fair amount of clubhead swing speed: the rare well-struck driver broke 300 yards, and the rare well-struck 7i flew 170 with another 5-10 of roll.

Anyway, I'm focusing on the overlapping grip that Hogan describes, which has done wonders for the square clubface at impact problems I was having.

I'm also focusing on the dynamics of the swing that Hogan describes: leading the backswing with the hands/arms/shoulders and letting the tension build, then initiating the downswing with the hips to release that tension and letting the upper body fall into place behind the hips.

I've been working on the 9-3 drill with some solid results, but my full swings are still problematic.

I notice a great difference already on my pures, but the consistency issue remains. Beyond the 9-3 drill, does anyone have any further tips for rebuilding a swing in this manner?

I know the next couple months are going to be rough regardless as my new movement fights the last 8 years, but I'm prepared to weather it. Wish me luck.

I went through just what you are doing a few years ago. Did the 9-3 drill like mad. Also did quite a bit of holding the desired position at the top for a few seconds to get the feel into my brain, then swinging down and through. You are likley already doing something similar.

Time and practice my friend.

I think I figured out my driver yesterday. It seems kind of odd, but I open my stance slightly and still try to imagine swinging around my body and I use a draw grip like I'm still trying to hit a big draw. And wa la its a powerfade. I've never hit so many fairways as I did yesterday. Maybe I can get into single digits and keep it there for a long long time. I really think I can get down to like a 5 if I can actually keep the ball in play.

I had a thought today about Ross Fisher, and Mickelson in '99. Shouldn't pro golfers know better than to not pull out 9 months before a major? Jeeeeeezzzzz.

Maybe it was the only time, they were allowed some nookie?

Ok, from june to september is out (US open, Open Championship, PGA, Ryder Cup/Presidents Cup), that leaves october through march and may, and as it is not that easy to get pregnant, it might very well take 5-6 cycles to complete the task, your odds are not good. Oh and try telling the missus that you are out of your window. And you will be out of a window. At the 101st floor.

Are you specifically looking for a client that sits on your pc?
I used www.leaderboard.com last year to keep my handicap and I thought it was a wonderful site.

So by the end of last year I was playing to about a 12 handicap, almost every round I played was low 80s. I broke 80 once, shot 80 a few times, etc etc. At the start of this year, I started off hot. 2 rounds in the low 80s and 1 round was 80 on the nose and then the wheels came off. Through April/May/June and July almost all of my rounds have been in the high 90s to low 100s. I'm all over the place; slicing and duck-hooking my driver, shanking and hitting my irons fat, hitting my hybrids and fairway woods fat, this game is such a nightmare.

I've been taking lessons every year for the last 4 years, but I thought I had absorbed enough to go at it on my own this year, obviously not. So I had my second lesson of the year (I've been with the same guy for those 4 years) and things are starting to feel promising. We went right to my 2 biggest trouble clubs; hybrid and driver, I didn't want to pu**yfoot around and avoid my problems. He worked with me so far on establishing a good setup position and getting into the right positions in the back-swing to set myself to whip the club through to the target instead of focusing on the ball. I hit a couple of REALLY pure hybrids last night that I absolutely tagged.

I enjoy the game no matter what scores I am shooting, but I'd enjoy it much better if I could find the game that I had last year.
Only a few more months of golfable weather up here in Canada

What do you guys think about stack and tilt?

I saw a couple articles on it so tried it as best I could trying to figure it out on my own. My contact was sick. Divots were like 1-2 inches beyond the ball, only had like 1 chunk mis**** with the irons in the basket. But my swing path must have been a mess cause there was no consistancy, or control where the ball was going with some pretty big fades in there.

Tried something I saw in one of these threads and turned the club face way in, and tried to hit it straight. Amazing contact, and they were going straight, but as soon as I went back to regular setup was getting a ton of fades, and pushes again.

When I try and mimic the stack&tilt (i have no idea the official mechanics), I find it way easier to make solid contact because you aren't moving very much. You stay directly over the ball. I certainly think there is some merit to it, but I think the optimal swing is really a hybrid of a normal swing and a stack&tilt.

Anyone know a practice facility near Sterling Heights, MI that has a short game practice area (practice green with bunkers, etc.) not just a par-3? Looking to practice short game shots tomorrow and would rather not have to spend anything if I don't have to.

god damn I am getting some ridiculous blisters on my hands this season. probably due to girp changes and this new glove I got which is probably a bit too large, but seriously... they're just killing me.

I'm driving up to Green Bay on Friday to play with some friends over the weekend. Can anyone recommend somewhere for me to play on the way North?

I am probably going to avoid the construction and traffic on the tri-state tollway, and either go towards Madison on I-39 then through Fond Du Lac on US 151, or catch I-43 via US 12 near Elkhorn and take that north through Milwaukee.

The obvious answer of Whistling Straits is a little beyond my price range, and Blackwolf Run seems to be partially closed for renovations. I'm debating springing for Erin Hills... but will take any advice, as I've never golfed in the state before.

Got a hand-me-down driver this weekend. It's a Snake Eyes Ti-4 with a Penley Stealth 65 stiff shaft. The head is nice and in good condition. Has 4 weights, 2 x 8gm & 2 x 2gm. The grip is new this year, black Lamkin Crossline. I have a question about the shaft though: I think the shaft is 46.75". It's about a half inch longer than the 2007 TM Burner that replaced it. TM says the stock shaft length of the '07 Burner is 46.25".

I hit the Snake Eyes at the range last Saturday and played 9 with it on Sunday. At the range, the straightest drive I hit still went about 20 yards right of where I was aiming. 90% of the drives sliced wide right. I tried moving the weights to invoke a draw, but it didn't seem to help at all. So, I chalked it up to something wrong with my swing, and prayed that things wouldn't go horribly on Sunday.

On Sunday, my first drive landed about 5 ft inside the left rough! My 2nd drive was straight and about 280. I really laid off the swing the entire 9, swinging only at about 60% out of fear of a slice. By the end of the 9, the slice was back, but not as bad as at the range.

My question is not how do I fix the slice, but rather, do you think the shaft is too long? And do you think that having a stiff shaft isn't optimal for me. (FWIW, I'm 5'11", regular build.)

I have a chance to go to a PGA sponsored youth clinic with my Little Brother (Big Brothers/Big Sisters) then the practice round on Monday a Hazeltine (PGA Champ).

Any tips for seeing big name stars? My Little isn't really into golf, but would love to see Tiger (obv). I've never been to an event and have no idea how to traverse the masses to see the good stuff.

The driving range is a great place to hang out.

If your driver is almost 47" and you have to really slow down to hit it straight I would def recommend shortening it.

Had a good practice session today. Got a few things to fit together, mainly getting my shoulder turn up to a full 90 degrees in the backswing and a little more in the follow through, and just holding on to the club in the follow through until it stops by itself.

I've always been a control freak with my swing, thinking a bit too much, now I feel I can let go.

Still some timing issues, though.

A big week comming up starting on wednesday, the annual men vs. women match in the club, the weekend is a two day match against one of our neighbour clubs, and wednesday next is the men's club vs. another local club's men's club match at their course.
