Also, I had bought a RBZ driver last year I was playing at 7.5 degrees with a PX7.0 black shaft.... really didn't get along with it (head was really too light and spun way more than I thought it would). I put on an R11s head on the same shaft at 9.0 deg and was hitting it exactly the same height with way less spin.

Launch monitor confirmed spin down from like 3200 (bad) to about 2300 with the R11s. Also like the feel of the R11s way more.

Had a chance to play with my miuras too (202 cb). I don't know why I went +1/2 inch on them, I'm not used to such long clubs... much harder to hit the sweet spot. Also, PXi7.0 is a lot of shaft... mainly notice it when hitting the 3/4 iron. +1/2 inch softens the shafts a touch, but just makes it too hard for me to find the sweet spot.

I think I'm going to get them cut down 1/2 inch and soft step them so they play to a 6.66 or so as opposed to like a 6.9 or whatever they're at now. Just have to acknowledge that while an x100 is too flimsy, I'm not quite in 7.0 territory, at least not while playing once in the last 3 months. When I did get a chance to attack them though I couldn't move them off line at all. Going to be a fun year once I get the shafts dialed in... going to be firing at a lot more flags.

It was a Ping G5 460cc 9degree. Got it from somebody else. I don't know what my clubhead speed and launch angle are... I doubt I hit the ball consistently enough to even really know.

I guess I can go into Golfsmith and hit their simulator to find out? I hate feeling pressured by those sales guys though. And don't their simulators show you hit every brand new club they have 290 and straight?

Are those new adjustable clubs worthwhile?
