I put my 2i, 3i, 4i ahead of center in my swing. 5i, 6i about center, 7i, 8i, 9i I think a little bit toward my back foot then my PW, AW, SW, LW all get progressively closer to my back foot, with LW being maybe 80/20. I also open my stance up progressively starting with the PW. My LW stance is extremely open and ball very back of stance. Seems to work though. My misses are usually distance, not direction.

I put everything in the middle up until 6-iron which is very slightly forward, 5 iron which is a bit more forward, and 4 is just a few inches inside my left foot (i have a wide stance)

How many golf gloves do people usually wear in a round, not due to damage but because they get sweaty and loose? I assume this is not just me it happens to... I always hit some bad shots due to slippage, or at least it feels like it and it doesnt happen til after 7 or so holes...

...Im thinking of getting like 3-4gloves and swapping them out every 6holes or so to try and eliminate this problem

I only have one glove but I sweat like a bastard. Once I'm on the green I have to remind myself to immediately take it off and get it as much time as possible to air out before putting it on again before next tee shot. It's never a problem with slippage though, I just keep tightening it more and more as it gets waterlogged. I should probably purchase a second glove.

I just take my glove off in between every shot.

This is a good plan. I will occasionally break out a second glove, thankfully it's not usually all that hot here.

I was glad I had some extras in my bag today, forgot to bring the one I'd been using.

Booker,

Its just humid as **** here when its hot so that doesnt help, it was 80 and sunny with almost no wind... perfect golf weather but my glove just feels moist after awhile... Im gonna rotate the 2 I have now to see what happens

But you also avoid having an ugly tan line by doing this.

this

i used to keep it on until i got to the green but it would get nasty, i didn't like the michael jackson tan line and it caused a flair up of dermatitis on the back of my hand

Gotta take the glove off after every shot, unless each shot is only going 50 yards. I have probably 10 gloves in my bag to change out about every 10 minutes when practicing.

my hands are super slick and I can barely hold onto the club without a glove.

I just started wearing a glove about 2 weeks ago actually. I wish I would have started wearing one a long time ago. Added about 20 yards to my drives. Not sure about my iron play yet. Still not good enough to tell if it helped me or not lol.

I just take mine off after every shot. Not sure why people would keep it on when it's hot out.

As a pasty Irishman this is not a problem for me since I do not tan I'm lathered up in SPF 55, which is a problem. I hate having to put this **** on to play golf but I absolutely have to do it or I'll get burnt to a crisp in no time.

I would love to take it off after every shot if I didn't have to put it back on before every shot. A lot of times I will at least undo the velcro and let it breathe a bit but it's still on my hand until I get to the green.

Remind me not to ever prop bet Erica Schoenberg Lindgren at golf:

I'm too lazy to take my glove off after every shot. I usually leave it on to putt, too. I'll try to take it off every few holes so it can air out a little.

I really don't have any sort of tan line from it, though. My right hand is a little bit darker than my left, but you probably wouldn't notice it unless I pointed it out.

My sock tan line is brutal, though.

My LH tan line is not too bad but its noticeable if I point it out, but my feet tan line and upper arm tan line is brutal.... I try to keep up a tanning salon regime to help but its only a slight coverup. I use sunblock as best I can but I tan ridiculously easy so its fruitless, I almost never wear a hat because that is the worst tan line by far.....

If I golf tomorrow like I am supposed to my arm tan line should be pure awful and Ill try and post a pic... my instructor asked if I have been out much and I proved with the tan line and he showed me his just from working with students and it was twice as bad.

I even wear a dri-fit underneath and roll my golf shirt underneath because my normal shirts would show the tan line just so it looks normal in general apparel but it still irks me

Sometimes unvelcro the glove after a shot but I don't sweat at all really so its not a problem. I also never used to use a glove until last year. Tried it and discovered, hey, there's a reason why everyone wears these things.

I rake mine off after every regulation shot since I have 5-10 minutes untill next golfswing.
Sweating is rarely an issue since I play full cord grips, but I hate the feel of the glove when really warm, but too lazy to take it off all the time.
