Figured something out today:

Dont try and practice while you are playing a round of golf, I always seem to work too much on my swing while playing instead of just focusing on getting out of my head and just hitting the ****ing ball. Once I stopped thinking I got so much better out there...

Sounds exactly like my issue, Im always tinkering instead of just shutting my mind down and performing...

FWIW I would not want to read all 49 pages just because of the way the guy writes, the use of italics and caps is ******ed and overused and annoying

I took this coming Wednesday off to join a group from another message board I'm a member of, we're playing the #9 ranked golf course in the country, Muskoka Bay.

ughh i know i have no rite to complain cuz i should be more responsible n not lose my ****, but i left my 52 next to a green today n went back and it wasnt there, also asked the two groups behind me n they said they hadnt seen it.....counting on some nice person to do the rite thing but for some reason i dont think its likely....

would using 1 putter to practice , say in my house on carpetiing and using another ti actually use on course be a bad idea? I feel like gettin a anew putter and using my old 1 as I mentioned

Dick's has Nike One Tour golf balls for $20/dozen. Picked up a dozen to try em out, don't know how good they are but they were originally $45/dozen.

idk for some reason that commercial with the guy who shot a 79 cracks me up, at the end wens hes doing math with is daughter...probably cuz thats wut im like on the rare occasion i shoot a good round lol

Just got my updated handicap index. It would be up more than 5 strokes from the start of the year* but I actually lose nearly 2 shots b/c I had a couple of good tournament rounds last summer. Instead of being a 13.0 I'm an 11.2. I don't think I've ever seen that adjustment before.

* (obv not all at once, it's been going up about a shot per revision as good scores get replaced by ****ty ones)

My handicap is now a 4 lol. I still have 2 scores from last year that are in my last 20 that count, too. Only playing 18 rounds in 2 months coupled with the worst spring I can remember hasn't helped my golf game yet. I feel like I just need 2 solid weeks of 70+ weather and I'll be back to my 0.5 handi of last year. By this time last year I had 40 rounds in. Now I understand how hard it is for weekend warriors to be really good.

went golfing for the first time today at the 18 hole course. had trouble keeping up with my 2 buddies.

One adjustment they really helped me with was since I keep hitting it to the right. they told me to take my first foot. and just slightly drop it back a bit so it wouldnt slice as much. it def helped.

My iron game is so, so ****ty. we are hitting them almost like a driver shot right? same stance pretty much right? In the bunkers I tend to keep my feet closer together since teh pros do that

Jetto, I am far from an expert at golf and esp slice prevention, but it's my understanding that opening your stance will make your slice worse by causing you to swing across your body more.

Does anybody else find this commerical extremely annoying? I'm not sure this guy has even won a tour event, yet alone a major, and he's trying to represent Wilson irons in a commerical where they're touting Wilson major wins???? He might of won before, brief search turned up nothing...I always thought he was a stiff, maybe I'm won gt though. If this ad is to exist in the first place, Padraig should be the only near the cameras IMO. IDK, for some reason this made me despise Wilson and never even wanna look at their products again.
