Nice! I was fit for the P790s last year. I remember how the club felt. The ball just jumped off the club the first time I hit it on the course. I think I've gotten used to that feeling so I don't notice it much.

Actually, I think if you were to superimpose one over the results looks similar, don't they?

Which Oban shaft? Steel or graphite? The Oi shaft is incredible, just really pricy.

They're steel but I'm not sure which ones exactly. I tried some other shafts that were a weird steel / graphite mix but I can't remember what they were. Hit a lot of different stuff so can't keep it all straight....

He doesn't seem to mind. She had quite the get up on at the event also. Quite the whore.... Attention whore I mean, of course 😇.

To be fair, we know what the left one looks like. There's no guarantee her right is just as good. We need more data on the right one.

I know this is my fault but need to vent.

Left a wedge on the 16th hole on the fringe right beside the bunk I played out of. Didn’t notice until the following morning when I was moving my clubs into my car to go play at a different course. On the drive over I called the pro shop of the course where I dropped the wedge. Talked with the assistant pro and described my wedge specifically, was told they had it and would hold it for me. I gave them my name and told them I would stop by in 2 days as the course was kind of out of the way.

I stop in at the pro shop, no wedge. Talk to the cart/maintenance folks. No wedge. They let me look through all their lost/found. No wedge. Ugh.

If you've never checked out Mike Malaska on youtube, you really should. This "Malaska move" or tipping the club out as he calls it was an aha moment for me recently and I think it could help anyone that isn't already having the same feeling with their swing. He has several good videos on the tube so check them out if you're bored some time. I've never hit more accurate iron shots in my life and it's easy now. If I had more time to play I think I could easily become sub zero HC with this simple thing that I've changed. Hopefully it helps someone else here too.

At 10:30 when he start talking about putting a tee down and the corners was an important part for me.

I'm surprised how much his front knee bends in that video. I'm an extreme beginner but my instructor was harping on me taking all that bend out of my knees and staying up straighter. It feels so much more comfortable to bend your knees but I was topping the ball and realize a good golf swing should feel awkward for a while

I wish these youtube videos would actually show the swing over and over again. A lot of them are hard for me to follow (again beginner) because it's so much talking and very little actual demonstration with practical application.

Yeah, that video is definitely not aimed at beginners, but I for sure did what he talks about when it comes to trying to drop the club back and having it get stuck behind me and then needing to fix it with my hands at impact. His way just makes it so much more consistent and easy for me.

I'm watching the John Deere and Charles Howell the 3rd is up. The announcer says how it's been 13 years until his last win (or maybe 13 years until he won last year) and it sounds just awful. Wow. How can he still show his face out there? Google tells me he has 35 million in earnings and is worth 15 million. Poor guy.

A look at a 2 iron swing I had from today. I did notice that I didn't take the club all that far back on this one. I was trying to shallow out the swing a bit on this one. Hitting this club fat is death.

One step fix for your 2 iron swing: Throw out the 2 iron =P

What's the best online site for used golf balls these days?

Way back when I used golfballsunlimited.com several times but seems like they're out of business.

Probably avoiding eBay, prefer to buy directly off a website from supplier.

I somehow left 2 wedges and an 8 iron on the last hole I played (3rd hole, shotgun start) a few weeks ago and didn't notice until the next day I played. Nobody returned them to the shop. But turns out my Golf Canada memberhsip includes lost club insurance so I'm only out the $75 deductible. $75 for fresh grooves on two wedges ain't so bad.

Just need someone to steal my driver now.

Agree they're pretty good. I bought some recently and about 10% or so of the balls weren't in the described 5A Mint condition but they replaced them no problem.

Tiger woods after his round today on how he is getting older:

"The days of me practicing 4 or 5 hours then playing 36 holes, coming back and running 4 or 5 miles and then going to the gym are over."

I guess I have more in common than Tiger than I thought 😆😆. Those days are over for me too.

Wow. I always heard how much he practiced, but that's crazy!! I figured he hit some weights then spent the day hitting balls in his back yard.

It's pretty insane how much he practiced. You don't beat the rest of the world by 10 strokes on the regular just playing 1 round a day.

He still played less golf than Vijay.
