I've bought clubs in the 2nd Swing B&M store, never really looked at their online pricing/selection since I have a couple stores in my area.

Anyone doing this GolfPass thing Rory is promoting? If so, is there a way to see which courses are offering the free round each month?

I searched on it a bit. I was looking for what resorts you get the credit at and I didn't see that either. Would be nice to know such things wouldn't it?

Anyone ever experience shoulder issues related to golf? I've had nagging pain in the back of my trail shoulder for about 6 months which has not improved and has gotten a little worse. Going to a shoulder specialist next week, hoping it is just a strain or inflammation and not a rotator cuff tear.

I do feel like my swing may be contributing to it, it is an arm-driven swing where I tend to not use my body very much (check out Jim Venetos videos on Youtube if you want to see what it looks like). I love the swing and have never had such consistent contact since I switched, but I fear it may be contributing to the shoulder issues. Then again I just turned 50 so it could just be standard old-guy deterioration. Tends to hurt most on the follow through, backswing is fine.

Any chance you use a pull trolley? I had shoulder issues that got worse as I advanced towards 50. I went electric with my 50th birthday cash and the issues went away fairly quickly and I haven't had problems again since.

I do use a push cart but I've been using it for years with no problems. I think it may have more to do with my swing which I changed more recently. Will see what the orthopedist says, hoping he doesn't tell me to shut it down, I'm already going stir crazy with the winter weather.

I used one for years too, but getting to that 50 landmark starts making some of those joints a bit more creaky I found!

I've thought this as well. I actually just ordered a standing desk because I do use a computer all day and my sitting posture is terrible. Will definitely ask the doctor when I see him tomorrow, thanks.

I'm contemplating getting a standing desk as well, or one that can go back and forth. I don't know how much I would use it though. My sitting posture is **** as well.

Probably oobgolf. I used to use it until it seemed like they limited the features for non-paying users so I gave up. Now I just end up paying for a Golf Canada membership and put scores in there.

Went to "Golf Fest" in town. They have a bunch of manufacturers there and you can try their equipment out. Big names not there were Titleist and TaylorMade. Everyone else was basically there.

I really wanted to try the Cobra F9. I must say that this is a very nice driver. What makes it even more attractive is that it is $449. With most other manufacturers climbing above $500 this is a club that is just as good and you can save $100.

It will not be kicking my Callaway Rogue out of the bag but if I was looking to change I would go in this direction.

Getting the bag stocked for next week's season opening golf trip and I can't decide whether to stick with the S55s or put the Eye2s back in. Haven't taken a swing since the first week of January, could probably use all the forgiveness possible.

Good thing I've got lots of time to ponder.

Thought I'd look up "PM Grind" in the Search but considering this is a poker forum that's probably the worst 2 words to search on here lol.

Anyone have the Callaway PM Grind wedges?

I was fit for Mizuno s18s at club champ, and I also had liked the Clevelands I had hit but I hit all of the wedges pretty well..

Very interested in these PM Grinds as I can order them from a shop I have enough credit for 2 clubs and the shop doesn't deal with Mizuno's but they do have an account with Callaway.. Callaway also has my fitted shaft in stock that I can get on the website with no extra charge so it will def save me some money should I get them..

Callaway wedges are very good, but I detest the look of the PM grind. Of course I feel the same way about the TM Hi Toe wedge. If something looks that bad, no way I'm going to be able to play them

But, if you like the way they look then it's a different matter. Of course I have no way of knowing if that grind suits your turf interaction.

Its stocked with a KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 steel shaft, would putting a KBS $-Taper 120g Shaft on it affect its ability?

Yes. Any time you reshaft a club it changes it's ability as every shaft performs differently. In this case the Hi-Rev is 5g heavier and the bend profile seems to be slightly different.

So yes, it's going to change the club. But it's doubtful you would notice these minor changes.

The best.

Where do people stand on leaving the flag stick in? Played my first round of the new year Sunday, and all my playing partners were set on leaving it in for every putt. I had no problem with it being in for long and medium putts, but needed to take it out for the short ones; found it too distracting.

Depends which flag stick it is. Only higher end courses have the skinny fiberglass ones that help.

same as you we've been leaving it in for longish to medium putts and pulling it for shorter ones. we'll also pull it if it doesn't seat properly in the hole and leans in one direction or if the wind is blowing it crooked.
