not if you have an ounce of compassion in your body.

Ryo Ishikawa so far has received a special invite. Personally I think Ernie deserves one but I doubt he gets one

Though the Masters tends to do what it wants. When protesters were going to boycott their advertisers they ran the broadcast with no advertising and put all the demonstrators a mile away

Look at the TV coverage it is also limited. If there was any major I want to see full days coverage this would be it

They gotta give Ernie the invite, imo.

I almost think all of the media attention the Ernie thing is getting is hurting his chances. Augusta calls their own shots and certainly aren't going to want it to look like they gave into everyone to give Ernie the invite. Just my take.

I agree I think it hurts him more than helps him

Fun Jim Nantz fact:

He was on the same college golf team as Freddie Couples

Golf channel brought up a good point the other day. Why isnt Robert Rock in this tournament? He beat Tiger straight up and won one of the deepest field events of the year.

Edit: Ernie should be in it too.

Tiger Woods '12 came out today. I think I am going to pick it up. Any one want some games over Xbox Live tonight for small stakes? Like $20-$25 a game and settle on Paypal or something? We did it last year and it was fun.

tiger wins 1 tourney in 2 yrs and has a strained achilles and is the favorite to win (with no close 3rd after mcilroy). best part is that it's justified.

After being lucky enough to play Augusta last year, it's pretty easy to see why Phil/Tiger do well there every year. You can hit it absolutely anywhere off the tee on basically every hole and be fine. Like 80 yards off line, you'll be in some pine straw in not so dense trees. Left on 2/10/11/13 are no good, but right is fine. That plus a great shortgame+ not getting intimidated by big situations= do well.

The way tiger is driving it right now will still be a huge advantage, he's just wearing it out down the middle on every hole it seems like. If he can keep his putting momentum and keep working on his short game, he just has to be the odds on favorite.

So excited for this.
Think/Hope Tiger wins but think Keegan & Donald will both go well.

I'm inclined to believe the opposite of whatever Feinstein says. He's the biggest toolbag in golf media. He makes up nonsense to sell books and get his fugly mug on tv.

I believe Rock is not in the top 50 in the OWGR

Ok Ron...love you again. This is the most accurate thing ITT yet.

I hope I am back in your trust tree too.

I don't think Augusta is going to stiff Els on an invite just because the public seems to want it. If he weren't at the top of leaderboards lately I could see it, but he's Ernie ****ing Els AND he's playing well. If he has any sort of decent finish this week I think he's a lock for an invite. If he misses the cut they might find an excuse to give it to someone else but even then I wouldn't be shocked to see him get one.
