Nice win by Nah Yeon Hotness today. Holes out for eagle on 16 to leave the field in her dust and she did it this week with a guy who has never caddied in his life before.

Saw it live, that was a crazy ass finish. One moment it looks like Lewis is going to take either a two or three shot lead with two holes to play, the next she's down two shots and it's over.

Thought it weird that she had no access to the information that Choi went eagle-birdie immediately behind her for at least 10-15 minutes after it happened, thus she played conservatively on 18 thinking it was her tournament to lose.

Yah, I don't understand that setup at all. The leaderboard on 18 was pointed back towards the stands so players couldn't even see it until they were on the green. However, Lewis said after the round that someone in the crowd said/told her that she needed eagle to win, so she knew where she stood, but she still decided to lay up.

Interested to see how Lancaster CC looks this weekend. It's a really good William Flynn design. Highly recommend to play if you ever get the chance. Can't take a lot of water though so no more rain hopefully.

greg norman gave a lengthy comment on all the things he liked about muni he before it became very uncomfortable given that he was talking about a 16 year old girl looking like she did and dressed the way she was.

anyway, it was refreshing in a weird way to hear someone on an lpga telecast criticize the players. norman was not shy in criticizing their mechanics, short games (one top player shanked a chip shot and another chipping from about 20 feet belted it 50 feet past the hole), swing speeds, putting speed (the vast majority of putts were left short and/or missed on the low side), distance control, and overall lack of distance (they showed someone hitting a hybrid into a green from 170 yards or so and mentioned that no player had attempted to reach a 504 yard par 5 in two). the course set up was generally applauded though they mentioned that several tees were moved up significantly (one hole 44 yards) in anticipation of rain and the fairways very generous (one fairway on a 350 yard hole was 42 yards wide).

singled out for special praise was inbee park's putting and yani tseng's swing speed.

overall fox's telecast of an lpga major was a mixed bag
