To be fair the LPGA pros I've met IRL are generally much more attractive compared to their playing appearance.

I actually agree as well. Gerina Piller in particular looked amazing IRL.

Haven't been able to watch much of today's coverage, but interesting that none of the leaders got anything going.

Yeah long over due. Doubt Inbee ever wins again

I saw she shot a million in round one, is she hurt?

Big fan of hers having met her a bunch. Fan of Stacy Lewis due to Joe Hallett being her coach, dude ran all my PGA checkpoints and seemed like a great guy. Hell I think he caddied for Inbee at one point as well.

She was hurt and wasn't really trying. She is 2 tournaments ,1 as of this week, away from being eligible for LPGA hall of fame so I expect her to do the same thing next week and after that I am not sure she plays again.

Yeah. I don't really know that she won't play again but the announcer Dottie or whatever her name is made it sound like she might not and that she wants to start a family. Either way she will need to take time off even if she still plays. It is a shame when women retire early to have kids instead of getting more wins. You think they would just get a surrogate to carry the kid but who knows. Shame if she never plays again.

This week the LPGA moves to the state of New Jersey for the playing of the ShopRite Classic. This has been a mainstay on the LPGA schedule now since 1992.

on pga tour i think there are some 3's in row - andy bean, gary player...... not sure about more and/or players who don't play every week like TW

I have actually played this week's course about 15 years ago. Windy as hell (right on the water) and I remember the rough being impossible. If you hit it in there good luck finding it. I played it shortly after the LPGA event too.

wasn't sure how records work if you don't play every week. probably a record for both - actually winning consecutive tourneys and also for winning consecutive tourneys you have entered.

Juta is just on fire...and she played without a driver in her bag this week.

i fairway marshalled a canadian pga event on the weekend......... a couple of fans who were together told me that one of the longer drives on a 520 yard par 5 was with a 3-iron. i find that impossible to believe but they were adamant. EDIT: i'm thinking maybe they don't know hybrids. i was shocked how far guys hit hybrids now.

i think it was just coincidental that i mentioned it 4 weeks ago, but i think the LPGA has been waiting for its Tiger. someone who hits the ball a mile and has an excellent short game.

of course they may have been waiting a long time and in most countries those players could come from (industrialized world), few teenage women play golf seriously.

shocked that lydia ko's swing gets it done on LPGA tour. no way that swing - style/tempo - could compete on pga tour.... but the 2 long women i think of - lexi and wie - have horrible short games. and of course LPGA probably play whippier clubs.

How's the fescue looking Tony? You could stand around the bunkers there, drop a ball right in front of you and never find it again. I always hated the Bay course in the afternoon once the poa started making the greens bumpy.

Its deep and the mosquitoes are biting.
