Well that's some shady ****. I'd be curious to see if Europe could give the putt to Lee after she picked it up. Also watching it Europe is walking away from the hole as if they had given the putt to her.I think the right thing to do now is to concede 18 and call the match halved.

It looked to me that it was the European caddies who first said that the putt was not conceded. This has come up many times before but I think the caddies should never say anything in that situation.

No, I was definitely wrong. On first viewing I thought some caddies said something. But I was viewing the American caddies who were surprised/annoyed by the commotion.

It was Suzanne Pettersson for sure who was the first to say to the referee that the putt was not conceded.

Whoever the Euro coach is done an interview saying Alison made a mistake and Europe played by rules. Lol her and Suzann are vile, as a Euro myself would love to see USA win so bad.

Lee had already been warned twice about picking up putts before they were given - she should just be allowed to continue doing so indefinitely?

I mean, why would they give her that putt in that situation? Didnt Nicklaus give a putt like that in the 1969 Ryder Cup?

There is also video of Annika, Fanny and the Euro captain talking to Suzann after the match and she was having none of it. So don't blame all of the team, just Pettersen. Hell, Charlie Hull was in tears over it after the end of the match too.

Maybe it's just time to make everyone putt everything. No more "it's good".

Maybe so, maybe not. I heard her (Koch) say she didn't have a good look at the putt and couldn't really see the distance.

Water under the bridge now, as it backfired on the Euros. Loved how ze German had a chance to retain it on home soil and soiled her pants in the moment.

Just watched this on my DVR. Charlie Hull starting walking off the green right away after Lee's putt, which she wouldn't do if she intended to make her hit the short one. Maybe she just forgot to say something or assumed it was good or something? I think she meant to concede the putt and that was probably why she was crying at the end.
