i simply enjoy watching links golf, especially from Scotland.
That was a clinic. Dundonald is no pushover and she just took it apart.

Should have a fun final round at the Women's Open today. No idea if Buhai can hold the lead but she has to love being that far out in front. If she's still up at least three at the turn I think she closes the deal.

Nothing against Buhai but I'll be shamelessly rooting for In Gee and Shibuno.

With the LPGA headed for Canada this coming week, I thought this would be a good time for me to do another player profile.

The player I have chosen is Canadian born Brooke Henderson.

he LPGA season is coming to an end soon. Just six tournaments left.

Who will be player of the Year?

Who will get top rookie honors?

Who will get that Hall of Fame point for winning the Vare Trophy?

Only 5 players haven't missed a cut this year. How many can you name?

I got all the stats ready for you to read:

2022: A Year to Remember in Women's Golf
The Year 2022 was certainly a year to remember in women's golf.

We had winner's from 14 different countries and many all-time LPGA records were broken.

Maybe Tony can post, but since Q series is over I was looking for a 2023 priority list.

Kinda odd that Muni He didn't play Q series. She will slot in around 185th or so on priority list based on what happened last year. She turning to a professional influencer and GF of Alex Albon?

I'm surprised Brooke isn't playing this week .

I agree with your top 2

Was shocked about Lexi she works so hard away from the course

The LPGA had its first reshuffle of its Priority List this week. While most of the players moved up or down a few insignificant spots, there were some very significant moves also.

Someone did it on the LPGA in 1951. Haven’t heard about other tours.

The tour couldn’t have scripted that event any better. Great appetizer before the uswo at Pebble in July.

It should be noted that Zhang did not win in her first LPGA event as she had already played several, rather she won in her first start as a professional.

A few PGA Tour players have won in their PGA Tour debut with the most recent being Garrett Willis at the 2001 Tucson Open. Robert Gamez did the same at Tucson in 1990. Back then Tucson was the first mainland event of the season and it was very rare that college players participated in PGA Tour events.

Still very cool as she won both the NCAA's and a tour event within a couple of weeks.

Ben Crenshaw was the most notable player to win his first event as a pro, coinciding on the PGA Tour. (1973 Texas Open)

Russell Henley was the most recent to win his PGA Tour debut. (2013 Sony Open)

Willis had played the mini tours so he was already a pro when he won his first PGA Tour event. Same goes for Henley.
