After the completion of the match, Suzann Pettersen announced her retirement from professional golf.

Wow, Nancy Lopez tweeted that she walked her first 18 playing since 2002! Knee replacements made it possible iirc.

With the LPGA taking the week of this week before resuming its schedule next week in Indianapolis, I thought it would be a good time to spotlight another LPGA rookie.

The player I have chosen today is:

Jennifer Kupcho

With the LPGA off this week, I would like to take this opportunity to look at the players that have taken the biggest leaps and the biggest falls in the Rolex Rankings in 2019.

I originally did a profile for this popular player a couple of years ago.

I have gone back and updated all statistics and added a picture or two.

This week the LPGA returns to the USA and the state of Indiana for the playing of the Indy Women In Tech Championship Driven by Group 1001.

Many of my readers might remember last year's exciting finish when Sung Hyun Park pictured above) and Lizette Salas were tied at the end of 72 holes. Park went on to win on the first playoff hole.

Here is my preview and more:

Charley Hull playing directly after her wedding, I'm sure there will be Honeymoon in Indy jokes all weekend.

This week the LPGA moves to the state of Texas for the playing of the Volunteers of America Classic.

Many of my readers will probably remember (or want to forget) last year's fiasco where the tournament was shortened to just 36 holes because of inclement weather.

Here is my preview (and a whole lot more) of this week's tournament.

Too bad this was the last year in Indy. Seemed like a solid event and I've certainly enjoyed watching it on TV. Would have liked to see someone like Eli Lilly step in as sponsor and keep it, but life goes on.

Looking forward to the VOA, though I will say that I'm already tired of the VOA commercials.

Is it lost? I didn't know that.

Although Michelle has been out almost the entire season with an injury (she is expected to be back healthy in 2020), she is still on e of the most followed players on the LPGA Tour.
I have gone back and updated all her stats.

Watching yesterday’s coverage, the commentators are talking about Jaye Marie Green’s calm demeanor.

I’ve always thought her demeanor would be best described as if stoned out of her gourd but I guess calm works too.

Great front nine for her.

Nice win for Knight, she played very well on the weekend. Jaye Marie didn't have the same mojo and Altomare would probably like a couple shots back.

Really nice to see Meadow drain that putt on the last to keep her card. I would have liked to have seen Emma Talley make the cut and keep hers as well but hopefully she can get back on track at the Q Series.

On to Asia and weird TV times.

Q Series is a final. http://scoring.lpga.com/public/QSLeaderboard.aspx

Crowd favorite Muli He takes medalist honors!

On an unrelated note I am signed up again for a standard bearer on Thursday and Friday of the CME. Should get my schedule by the end of next week.

Also signed up to volunteer for the new event in Clearwater next May.
