Nice interview article with So Yeon Ryu in the new Golf Digest.

The LET schedule kicks off this week with an event in the UAE. I hope the LET makes it through the season, there are events on the calendar but purses are very small. I think Jodi Hyphen is playing this week, not sure about any other LPGA stars.

It is time to start the 2019 LPGA season. With 34 tournaments on the schedule (including the Solheim Cup), more prize money, and more television coverage, the 2019 season promises to be the biggest and best ever.

The season this year will kick-off with a brand new event: The Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions.

With the LPGA taking a two week break before heading to Australia and Asia, I don't think it is too early to take a look at the United States players who are fighting to gain a spot on the 2019 Solheim Cup team.

With the LPGA in the middle of a two week break, I would like to do another LPGA player profile.

The player I have chosen today has not yet won an LPGA event, but is a very popular player. She had her best season on tour in 2018 where she finished 32nd on the LPGA money list. The player I have chosen is:

Seen some interviews with So Yeon she is one determined lady. Doesn’t close as well as one might hope but never far away/always seems to be in the top 20. She doesn’t give up

The LPGA moves to Australia this week for the playing of the ISPS Handa Vic Open.

LPGA players will be competing alongside the men for an equal purse at the 2019 Vic Open. The event will be held February 7-10 and be co-sanctioned by the LPGA, The European Tour (men's), The ISPS Handa PGA Tour of Australia (men's), and the ALPG (women's).
